My Lady! I never write comments, but now I have to. I did most of your recipe and it always turned out super good, they are easy to make with very straight forward instructions. For a not very good cook like me, your recipes gave me the feeling of success and I started to love cooking. Thank you for that! Now you came with this video and I am shocked how much talent you have and hard work you do with your little team. I was in Vietnam, but now I have to go back to enjoy the place by your gastronomy tour suggestion. The video is just so well-made that I cannot wait for the next one. You are blessed and we are lucky to have you!
You have a great palate. The dishes you chose (9/10) are all of my favorites. Coming from a Vietnamese person who misses the motherland so much, you’ve really brought back all the nostalgia for me in the best way possible. Fantastic content.
This is an amazing video! Was a pleasure to watch, so well filmed and produced and it will be super helpful for me and my girlfriend who are going to Saigon mainly to discover the cuisine. Thanks for the tips 😄❤
Thank you so much for your kind words! This was a big project for us, being the first one we made!! HUGE learning curve, but we loved every minute of it (OK I lie, there were some frustrating moments too! 😂)
Nagi! Absolutely brilliant video! Well done. And perfect timimg. Heading to Vietnam for Christmas ... can't wait to try some of these. Thanks for the great recommendations. Looking forward to your next video! xxx
So proud to say I've tried most of these dishes and been to two of these places while in HCMC. Really well put together video, please make more of these!
Loved this video as much for the food as for the authentic look at Vietnam!!!! I could't help but think of the way we prepare food here in the US as I was watching all the shops in Ho Chi Minh City!! What an absolute delight it was watching your video, so much better to see on location that show it fixed in a sterile kitchen! Love your recipes, food and now your videos!!! Keep them coming!
Oh wow! Well done Nagi, if this is the pilot than we have a true world-wide food party ahead of us!!! I'm seriously salivating as I write this, and the video only further cemented my resolve to visit Vietnam in the near future.
Wow! So very cool to see you doing Vietnam street food vids! Absolutely love love your recipe channel and vids so looking forward to these local food videos. Cheers!
What a fun and exciting twist to your career, Nagi. You and your team do a great job producing clear and concise videos focused on the food. And your accent is adorable! I'm looking forward to episode 2. :)
I can’t wait to see the rest of these new videos! I’ve made so many of your recipes and they turn out great! Congrats on the new travel channel. It looks great! 😎🤗
I really enjoyed watching this even I am living in Saigon in Week 3 of the lockdown so it was kind of painful to watch. Is your accent Aussie? I look forward to trying all the places post-lockdown and to more of your videos. Cute dog too!
Hello!! We started serious research October last year during a holiday to Vietnam, then we went back twice this year to continue researching and do the filming in August/September. This was a side project so we had it on the back burner to do the edits, so it took much longer than it would have if we prioritised it! :) N x
Thank you for the clip. You have a lot of good recommendations for street food. I agree with them all. And making me feel so hungry while watching. I can’t wait to come back home (Saigon) and eat as much as I can when this Covid 19 goes away.
Behind the crazy and noisy City it's Crazy and Amazing foods! By the way, Việt Nam had a Gold Medal for 60 years of Sea Game 30. Việt Nam say hello with Love and Peace! 🇻🇳✌😁 "We live to eat, not eat to live!".
"Locals" "locals" "locals" "no tourists" This obsession with what the locals do is cringe and exclusionary. Reminds me of "I'm not a tourist, I'm a traveller" And if you are from vietnam, then its just xenophobic
This was such a nice and refreshing video, congratulations Nagi! Looking forward to more.
Thank you for the lovely message! N x

Ha ha!! Dozer doesn't approve, he's jealous because he wasn't invited 😂
Oh my goodness! So many heavenly yummy dishes in just one video!
I love your narratives and cool video! Your articulation made me salivate over these dishes which are my daily staples as an American Viet. Bravo!

This video just made me so emotional. I wish I could travel HCMC again
Where to get the crab meat in vermicelli??
You do not put lime slide on top of the noodle soup like that 😂

Hi i want to know are you VIETNAMSE ?
Behind the crazy and noisy City it's Crazy and Amazing foods!
By the way, Việt Nam had a Gold Medal for 60 years of Sea Game 30.
Việt Nam say hello with Love and Peace!
🇻🇳✌😁
"We live to eat, not eat to live!".
You lost me at Ben Thanh Market. That's the worst tourist trap, the food there is overpriced, and just not good
So very true
hmmm you practically used my goto list...except for sau le and ghetto street food,
The roast pork in Vietnam is too thick and hard to eat.
"Locals" "locals" "locals" "no tourists"
This obsession with what the locals do is cringe and exclusionary.
Reminds me of "I'm not a tourist, I'm a traveller"
And if you are from vietnam, then its just xenophobic
im so sry im am viet and u are not saying the it
I had lived in HCMC for almost two years for work. All the food look good but not very clean…a lot of people in Vietnam got hepatitis B!
Sorry, your recommendations were subpar. I regret trying some of your suggestions.
You mean there is no one you can consult on the correct pronunciation of these national dishes of Vietnam? Please try a bit harder.
Give her a break! She’s not Vietnamese. Be a little kinder.
the pronunciation is horrendous
Be nice! She’s not Vietnamese.
Really great info on some fantastic looking dishes and vendors! Bring on more when we’re all travelling again Nagi!
Wow mantab👍🙏
