- Easily connect Echo to computer as an external speaker. You can use Amazon Echo dot, Echo Show, or any other Echo device as a speaker with your Laptop or PC over Bluetooth. Your laptop might have a good quality of speakers but it can't compete with Echo devices. If you have an Echo device then use it as an external speaker and enjoy high-quality audio.
Steps -
Connect Echo to your laptop via Bluetooth.
Disable Microsoft Bluetooth LE Enumerator from device manager.
Disable and Enable Bluetooth
Select Echo as the output device.

Can we use the mic in Echo to record into PC?
why doesn’t the amazon echo application connect to amazon speakers like the amazon music mobile application? This is a HUGE oversight on Amazon’s part.
Once you play audio on Amazon Alexa (Echo) app, you can choose the device where you want to play it, select your echo device.
Can we use a mic as well for zoom calls etc.?

Hello. I hope you can help. I have tried what you have suggested but I am using Windows 11 and my Alexa Show 8 only comes up as in input device and not output. I have tried all sorts of things but I don't know why my Alexa thinks it is trying to connect to a speaker and not the other way around.
If. you followed the video and it is still unable to connect, update the firmware of Echo Show.
@@sandeepsingh18 Thanks. Fireware is the latest version, it's a windows 11 problem . If I delete my Bluetooth device and reboot it works for a few minutes and then stops again once it detects all the Bluetooth devices .
Worked fine on windows 10 .

if u have win 7 get win 7 drivers win 10 drivers wont work

You have to group the devices in Alexa app.

I want to pair my laptop to an echo speaker group too so that I can watch Netflix and it gives me surround sound. Do you know how I do that?
