Stick to Crypto news, dude. Rate cuts will start the uninversion of the 2s and 10s yield curve which make the dollar weaker which will make the yen stronger, further unwinding the carry trade, which will tank risk assets. Unemployment is just starting to jump out of a smooth linear progression, there are 700K to 1M more jobs that were lost this year than headlines showed, consumer debt is at all-time highs and growing, wealthy people are shopping at Walmart more, debt delinquencies are trending up fast. Stock prices are almost back to ATH, inflation is still 50% above Fed target rate, and we are about to get into September\October season that had a huge drop in stock market the last two years, which will further crush wealth effect.
There is literally nothing that says we are at the bottom of a recession and almost everything says the economy continues to trend down. Keep your cash! until after October

The August jobs report is going to be huge. I'm not sold the Fed is going to cut if unemployment doesn't go up again. One month of 2.9 isn't sustained 2 percent inflation. If unemployment ticks up to 4.4, expect another big drop in the market and then a rate cut is probable.

Spot on Rob. I work in tech consulting and repeatedly speak with people who retired early, then eventually returned to the workforce. The beaches, travel and freedom eventually got boring, and they started developing some bad (unhealthy) habits and started feeling isolated. As much as Id love to retire from my job, I love it, and its frustrating that you cannot find peace without a purpose. Our brains are simply not wired to do nothing, but to overcome problems, interact with people and feel a sense of achievement.
