I hosted a dnd game and I only had 3 players in the beginning, we had a fighter with a magic curse sword, a bard with a rocking guitar and quick wit, and a noble warlock with a phoenix as a companion, so every time I hear this song it reminds me of my first dnd game I ever hosted and the amazing characters and stories that came from those 3
I have the utmost respect that Venti’s VA, Erika Harlacher, even did a cover of this song and I’ve come to like her version just as much as the original. Yet, I still always must give my props to the Oh Hellos for bringing this song about. While I’ve not played Genshin for myself and this song seems to vibe with what I’ve seen of Venti’s outward character - and the VA that play’s him: I’d agree that this song very well suits him.
