Thanks for the ride around Trev, I would be lost trying to find the CaddyShack, I just write the sois down, take care and stay safe.
Visiting in February can't wait and it might be changing but I'll still be doing exactly the the same things I did 22 years ago the first time I ever went

Caddy Shack is my number one restaurant ,I visit 2 to 3 times a week, roast dinners, liver and bacan and my favorite apple crumble and you get a large offering too, always very good and not over priced.they also have Guinness on tap.
2nd cheap charlies dark side breakfast excellent, better quality then there other two restaurants,
3rd hungry hippo good sized portions.
4th Kungs always good breakfast nice coffee too
5th Beer garden near walking street entrance great place to take you girlfriend

I'm going to Pattaya on January 9. It will be my first time back in Pattaya for 36 years. 5 nights in LK President, so I will definitely visit the Buzzin Lounge.

👍 I stayed there 5 nights while getting my visa sorted 👍 ... handy for the entertainment and loads of bars cafes etc ... was a bit to busy for me and I've now settled in Hua Hin ... enjoy 👍

Do you remember the Harley Bar that was next to the Caddyshack now redeveloped i see it was a very popular bar in the day and very good one always a good time to be had in there swimming pool at the back good food had a Farang Lady cook i seem to remember great place good memory's of Pattaya

Harley bar probably in my top 3 favourites. It was all part of the hotel grounds. Now kastel before Eden. Eventually bar had to drop Harley name and became Eden same as hotel.

In the US Corporate price gouging has made basic necessities too expensive. It's really hitting everyone's disposable income. Combine that with high airfares and a lot of people are staying home.

In hearings in the House of Representatives, Katie Porter was successful in getting Corporate CEO's to admit to price gouging.
Throughout Wall Street, Corporate profits are great despite inflation. This is because across the board, prices were raised well over was was necessary to maintain the existing profit margin in an inflationary environment - i.e. price gouging.
When Biden called the gas companies on price gouging and warned them to stop, prices magically dropped with no underlying economic justification. They just dropped back to what they would be without price gouging.
So yes, Corporate price gouging is putting great financial strain on the middle class. As a result, fewer people are traveling on overseas vacations. The people you hear in the media strenuously arguing against price gouging are the same people who make six figures salaries cheerleading for Corporate America. Their side hustle is convincing sheep they're wolves and into accepting their world view.

Pulcinella is a comedic character from Italian fok traditions and in that sense only is similar to the Punch character of Punch & Judy, who are also from English folk traditions. Probably not the reason they kept the name and signage but it is something to think about.

I know you have done on bf, but there many other categories, like for exampel, best thai food, best pizza, best 24hrs/late night restaurant (to eat when you go home from a late night out), best indian food (i think i know your top 2), best kebab, best buffet, best dessert, etc.

It's quiet for the sole reason that air fares are sky high, booked in June for Xmas £1850 eco with Emirates, absolute rip off ,but it is what it is

Surely must be lots of tourist pouring in which eventually means great business or is it something else.
Anyways lets hope it is all happening for good.
And also wish that more business brings positive competition and fair or even cheaper prices for the visitor at great quality .

Every day here in Montana, I'm driving 70mph (~110kph) on winding roads, dodging deer, elk, bighorn sheep, and other stupid drivers, just to get to work. I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable for a single second driving in Pattaya. 🤣🤣🤣 Especially on a scooter/motorbike. Good on you, Trev.
