- The wait is finally over as the fourth series of the 'Thomas & Friends' Audio Stories begins. And we kick off the series by looking at the other dropped character of the television series.
The little engines in the hills get a surprise when a new engine comes to help them. But the newcomer, Little Giant, appears to be confident on one end, but nervous on the other. How will the new engine turn out..?
The fourth series is going to be bigger and better and I promise there will be many surprises to come! This video can be enjoyed by any generation of 'Thomas & Friends' fan. Until the next story, take care...

What an impressive story. I love how one end of Little Giant is confident and the other is nervous. He sounds like a good character, a shame we won't be seeing him around again. Serves the engine right for both working or co-operating together.

@@paramount3603 Yeah, except they're painted yellow and have a nameplate. The biggest difference i found is that their name isn't a mashup of both ends' names. For Mighty Mac, one end is Mighty, the other is Mac. And together, they're Mighty Mac. For Little Giant, it's just the confident end, and the nervous end. I guess I can kinda see why they were dropped, since that could lead to confusion with them. Personally, I think Mighty Mac work a lot better on the show.

Wow, super impressive! I heard Little Giant was an original draft of Mighty Mac, but nice introducing them here, also foreshadowing Might Mac! :D
Very brilliant story! It would've been nice to see two double headed farlie's on the Skarloey Railway.

Wonderful story Kiefer Adams, I absolutely love it as well as when Little Giant came before Mighty Mac came to Sodor, but I didn’t know that he was a unusual character until now but anyway it is very interesting type of character
So Little Giant's visit to the Railway is what gets The Thin Controller the idea to buy Mighty Mac

Perhaps, the two ends have two different names according to their personalities. The nervous was called 'Little' and the confident end was called 'Giant'.

Great job man I've definitely been looking forward to this story. Although I realize there is a continuity error in this story. Since Little Giant meets Thomas, and he has never seen engine like that before until he meets Mighty Mac it doesn't make the whole lot of sense. Either way it was nice to see them get some time in the spotlight though I have to wonder what made Mr. Percival change his mind on actually buying a double fairlie otherwise he wouldn't have brought Mighty Mac to the skarloey railway at all. Keep up the good work man and I can't wait to see more stories.

Long ago there's a narrow gauge engine named little giant but... the only issue was that he two Personality one face is Confidence and the other is kind and with great knowledge but they work together terribly because one is to confidence of itself while the other is kind and knows what gonna happen so... after being sent back where he came from... years later mighty mac came and took his place because he doesn't have any confidences or anything else that forces him or something but instead they work together at the end

Peter Sam was right. The nervous end of Little Giant would’ve been an alright engine, if he was just one engine. Other than that though, very good story 😊👍
honestly I think the thin controller was wrong to literally just send them straight back after only one incident.
I mean duncan has caused much more trouble than them and yet he still gets to stay.

I love how you are able to incorporate cancelled characters like who knows you might do the Canceled railway series character Barry As it was recently confirmed that he shares the same basis as Arthur rather than being a Ivatt tender engine like originally thought Though I would probably prefer the latter for. What a fantastic story here Kiefer! I've enjoyed all your stories ever since James and the Old Coaches, and this is one of my new favourites. It kind of feels like a lost Season 6 or 7 episode.
Even though I do prefer Mighty Mac overall, I do like what you did with Little Giant.

Little Giant probably is schizophrenic. Still, he wouldn't have gotten sent back to the Other Railway which is standard gauge. Instead, odds on he'd get sent to either the Welsh Highland Railway or the Ffestiniog.
Little giant (narrow-gauge) and mighty-mac. I think they are long-lost biological siblings. They're brothers. They haven't seen each other in years and decades. They have see each other in the friendly family reunion.
These narrations should be made into real episodes, they're just that good.

I don't think Little Giant was really sent away. After their incident with that coal train, they were given another chance and learned their lesson about teamwork. If you do more stories, you should make a redemption story for Little Giant where the confident side comforts the Nervous side

I think mighty Mac is a better character cause you don’t just have two characters being named as one
I do like the story but I thin kit needs more basis like some stories from the Ffestiniog Railway and I don't like big giant I think they need more pzaz
