Light Brown hair is a favorite color for many. However, not everyone understands how to achieve it. Light Brown can be tricky, often resulting in a different shade than intended during the coloring process.
It might seem straightforward - you take a light brown hair dye, apply it at home, but the result turns out to be far from Light Brown - it might end up being reddish or, even worse, greenish. What should you do and how can you truly achieve Light Brown hair? I'll demonstrate that in this video.
The purest Light Brown shade can only be achieved after lightening dark hair and toning. It's impossible to dye dark hair light brown with just hair dye. In such cases, there will always be a reddish tint with a greenish undertone. Additionally, when dark shades are mixed with ash tones, the color tends to darken. To prevent this, it's crucial to prepare a proper base for Light Brown. Ideally, this base should be a light yellow color. Afterward, we adjust the dye colors based on the base, resulting in a gorgeous Light Brown hair color.
However, it's important to understand that Light Brown doesn't suit everyone. It can make one's face appear dull. To prevent this, creating contrast is essential - using highlights, where light strands alternate with darker ones. It's especially beneficial to focus on the framing of the face. In such cases, Light Brown becomes the most sought-after color.
