They investigate themselves and find no wrong doing hence why they RARELY lose qualified immunity in a court case unless it gets media attention most of the time. If police didnt have qualified immunity they wouldn’t be above the law because theyd have to be careful for there actions and be more educated on the constitution not just go to an academy and be handed a gun and badge. @@signumcrucis71 I don't know about the academies but what I do know is that once new officers graduate the academy they are put with an officer thats been around a while and so in my view I think that's where the problem lies, they're being trained in the day to day stuff by the wrong people and maybe I'm naive or maybe I'm right but hopefully once all these older guys leave MAYBE the younger guys (and gals) will step up and say you know what, no that way of doing things is not ok so we need to be the ones to change it

got a buddy who got jumped outside of his home on the 19th of this month according to his family. He suffered two bleeding to his head in the ICU so surgery was performed. He's alive and is going through physical therapy right now in the hospital. Not cop related but just wanted to share with y'all to be safe out there. Depressing case for Tyre. Hope these 5 officers never see the day of light ever again.

Unfortunately, the disrespect for human lives will continue to happen in part because of our society and what we seem to value. Some kids now value violence over peace and that is carried on through a child's life all the way into adulthood and part of that is through our negligence as parents or not teaching our kids respect. We are more likely to respond with IDGAF than we are to say or do anything positive when we are put to the test.
