Such a beautiful talent. One of the best vocalist to ever hit this earth. I'm glad she is still working. I always love to hear her sing "How Can I Ease The Pain". Back then, I thought she was one of the most beautiful seductive female artist I had ever seen when she would perform this song.

There are capable male singers who can't hit A2. Ms. Fischer is an absolute treasure. The textures and timbres she produces.....she truly has complete command of her instrument.

I experienced Ms. Lisa Fischer 1 week ago in Seattle. The Jazz alley audience was mesmerized and when the performance ended we all knew we had witnessed a force of nature. . Magical! 7 days later I am still under her spell.

I have two great regrets in my old age.
1: I’ve only discovered Lisa late in life.
2: For reasons I can’t fathom nobody appears to want to get Lisa into the recording studio. We either have to somehow get to concerts ( hard when you’re on the other side of the planet) or listen to badly recorded, amateurish RUclips clips. I’ll be dead before I can buy a CD/DVD/high definition download of this staggerlingly brilliant artist. So very , very frustrating.
My theory? She was poised for solo stardom in the early 90's and realized she'd have to sell her soul to succeed, so she stepped away and decided to sing on her own terms. She won't allow herself to be corrupted by the darkness of the music business. No record contract means no one trying to control her or do anything against her conscious.
