An excellent take from just out of the front of the camp, on a favourite creek, I can see why, it's geology and nature is beautiful, Rob. As you were describing that loaded mini valley on the inside bend, it occurred to me that's what the cells are doing on a Dream Mat, an eddy running back upon the predominant passage of flow. well Rob that was good to watch. You were getting stuck into it a bit. at one stage you looked like a demented wombat going for it. Different rock types too. more a decomposing diorite. When I watch you in that water in winter time I start to shiver. now that it is summer I just feel hot. I think my imagination is broken. Hurray back
That stream did not cut that cliff edge out over millions of years. Dont let the world decieve you. That is simply the "lay of the land." Think of everything on the other side at the same elevation of the stream, did the stream take care of all that too? No it didnt.
