I think there are no words to qualify this gentleman! Even the term Artist seems a rare platitude... I have seen many hunting videos in which this gentleman has participated and I have always retained a great repects for Nature, for weapons and for hunting!! It is true that it is a dream, even not to touch such objects, which are a rare Beauty... Hats off to Mr SCHEIRING
Thank you very much for posting this interview. If all goes well, I will be the proud owner of a Scheiring rifle this Spring. My rifle has been built in 1976 and is currently enjoying its last snowy days in Vienna before starting a long journey to sunny California. Please say my best regards to Mr. Scheiring. Gunmakers like him are living treasures. I look forward to visiting Ferlach one day and meeting him in person. Dr. Omid Jahromi, Playa Vista, California, USA
It will be my pleasure to give him your regards and let’s see, maybe we will hunt one day together with Herbert 🤝🌿not sure when it’s for us again possible to enter USA 🤷♂️
@@HuntGeo Thank you! I would love to be able to hunt with you gentlemen once the COVID pandemic is over. As for traveling to the US, I think it will take at least another 6 months before things could improve and normal travel and hunting becomes possible. Hopefully, by next hunting season in autumn we could all travel freely and hunt again :)
@@HuntGeo - that’s very kind of you & it would definitely be be very memorable day for for me. As an addition to the falling block rifles which I normally use I’ve just arranged to buy an Austrian made single shot rifle - very different from a Scheiring though - it’s a Pfeifer.
These are beautiful rifles. But not sure I'd want to take this on a 15km hike in the bush. And guessing a lot of these arent taken solo hunting in Grizzyly or Cougar country..?
The idea of a single shot rifle is beautiful, but not for dangerous animals. A double rifle for that is much better. Express is very classy. Classy costs a lot of money.
Gorgeous craftsmanship works of art, beauty , The only thing I love is to hunt with something so beautiful,a beautiful place in the woods you only get precious few days in the woods why not carry a beautiful gun that would accentuate the hunting experience beautiful day beautiful gun, beautiful time that's why I would hunt with one of those guns.inwould not lock it up in a closet an look at it ,I would use mine ,
Sir, you are clearly a gentleman of taste and discernment. Same with split cane rods. For me, it is a quadrate 4wt fitted with woven silk line casting a dry fly.
I recently ordered this gun from *immaglockdealer on wickr* and finally got to shoot it today. The 300 grain rounds aren’t that bad but the 500 grain rounds kick it’s a lot of fun to shoot

Absolutely beautiful and amazing! Your philosophy is what hunting and guns is really all about.
11:05 how is that engraving even posible?!?!?! WOW these guns are absolutely insanely beautiful!!! 😲😲😲😲
I’ve admired these rifles for years. I use single shot & double barrelled rifles but sadly not a Scheiring.
Let me know and when you in Austria I arrange a meeting by Herbert Scheiring. It’s a very close friend of mine 🤝

A butifule work of art. I run a bolt m70 in 7mm in a singal shot 243. And got love a light weight single shot to hunt deer with.
Astonishing craftmanship
Ruger number 1, affordable single shot. One well placed shot is all it takes. Mine is 30.06
I hear ya there. And I can own one with only week's pay vs YEARS. LOL

Some of my clients was hunting with this kind of rifles in Canada for sheep, moose, elk and few more …

Einfach Deutsch sprechen
