Clare designed the front cover for the 25th anniversary of the Scone Game Fair as well as winning the competition for the design of the front cover for the CLA Game Fair 2014. Shortlisted in 2014 and 2017 for Wildlife Artist of the Year, Clare has worked closely with, and donated paintings to a number of international charities including Tusk Trust, Born Free Foundation and GWCT.John Rigby & Co. gunmaker based in London and has been producing finest quality firearms quality since 1775. Today the company continues to produce the double and magazine rifles together with shotguns.
Thank goodness the great tradition of fine british gunmaking is still well and alive!!

I had a good friend was a gunsmith. Only worked on high end British & Italian game guns. He would only have a 4-5 in his workshop at any one time; easily worth more than his house. He used to say of them: "It's art that shoots!"
The words "he likes to" shows the true craftsmanship of this outfit.
Noteworthy that most of the gunmakers are relatively young. They’ll be turning out top tier guns for a long time.
I hope so, got to be better than the crap Rigby made in the US. They were just running with the name. Always loved the Rigby, first shot a few back in the 80's which was a 416 and a 275
Nobody TILL NOW can come anywhere near the art of English gun making (mostly double rifles & shot guns). For single barrel rifle making, Mauser, Austrian & some other European main land countries. That drop at heel & comb of Mauser & Austrian rifles is something very dear to most hunters.
If/when I ever make it big I will be by. None better than a Rigby in my book. Gunsmith myself.

@@tatumergo3931 no he shot it point blank in the jungle as it was about to kill him, if your not familiar with Jim Corbet and the man eating tigers of kumauon, check it out fascinating story, he wrote a book about it afterwards I believe.
