Another solid video, you're killing the longform VR content my man. More people need to show the beautiful and obscure worlds of VRChat and I'm glad to see so many eyes get on this video and see the parts of VRChat I love so much. You showed off some of my favorites in this video. :D I'm really excited to see where this journey in longform content takes you.
I make shorts because they're easier to finish but longform is where the passion is. It's especially scary to put so much more time into a proper horizontal video when I'm not sure if it'll find its audience, so it's a huge relief that people are responding well to this one. I hope to branch out beyond world showcases at some point, but the planning just goes so much more smoothly with this type of video and every other longform project so far has died as a mostly-empty word document. The euphoria of finally getting this one done has definitely given me fresh motivation to do cool stuff in the future though.

When I make videos, the longform flows so easily for me to the point where I'm actively trying to find ways to shorten my videos so they're more digestible, I can't wrap my head around making a short minute or less skit. Guh these worlds on their own are breathtakingly beautiful but your thoughtfulness on the themes and attention to detail is the icing on the cake. On top of that, the production quality and dramatic/comedic bits are the cherry on top.

I find cozy worlds are great not because my own home isnt cozy, but because I can be cozy WITH someone else. The fantasy is sitting together, watching dumb stuff on the video player alongside people you've played with for a thousand hours but live all over the world. You dont go through the trouble of flying overseas just to hang out. You dont need to.

As a Admin of Roleplay group i love to look many amazing worlds in vrchat to use in my roleplay and yes it has come to my mind sometimes that many people do miss out on many amazing worlds !
Hope you be warmed gives me SUCH Similar vibes to the main world that Furality Aqua and before that Luma, when it was on. In Aqua - the cave that led to the opening of the world that had an amazing musical score that litteraly had me in tears. BECAUSE Furality Luma was a world that was so organic and connected with itself, and we were just adventurers steppign on its soils and exploring its nooks and crannies. World building at its finest - in my humble opinion.
People kept on focusing on 18+ content, and basic stuff to the point that they forgot how vast and beautiful VRChat worlds can be. I've played this game for 3-4 years now and I've experienced the wonders beyond my imaginations. It sucks when these type of content did not get much attention it deserves.
I respect gooners' right to goon however they please, but I don't think it helps the game's mainstream appeal. I do see the community working pretty hard to reform VRChat's image, but it's an uphill battle for sure.
Oooo boy do i have some amazing worlds for you. Just let me know if you want them and ill compile some links (This is basically what i do in vrchat (try to find underappreciated, top tier worlds that simply never caught on). Great video!
Anyone grow up loving the Pokemon movies? I'd love an amazing fantasy world that covers some of them in the greatest parts of the movies, for example Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea, highly underrated pokemon movie, theres this scene where they get sucked down to a sunken city? or swam i can't really remember, and it looks absolutely insane. That would be cool to see, like an underwater city world or something that doesn't start underwater or like has some major effect that changes the land with a trigger or something.
i've got a master list of 100 or so cozy worlds, 100 or so "adventure" (so games, music, otherwise experiences) and a couple dozen extras that didn't fit in the first two lists and i don't even have a headset yet, it's all preparation
I record using VRChat's camera in 4K to really iron out those jaggies. I think I've still got some old 1080p footage in this one from an older draft of the video though.

Well caught, but it's not a typo. I had to double check the names to make sure they were different. I'm guessing the world name is a play on the creator's name with "toko" meaning "place."

on the subject of worlds, and maybe a little off topic, but im wondering if anyone else knows this world, basic info, it was an avi world, it was set in space i believe, it had four rooms(i think), but it had lore in it and you would have to collect coins to unlock avis, and it had this bar area, then it had an small outside area where the avis would be and the avis would be on this slot type of thing were you would have to press the leveler and other avis would switch out, and one room was white with a round about couch that was kinda built into the wall/floor and it had this giant floating crystal in the middle, with computer or cords surrounding it, and in then spawn area it would have small billboard that would show ads for in lore things? im not exactly sure. i know its very late but i found the world around 2019 or 2020 or even 2018, but i think about this world cause the lore was so interesting and i couldnt unfortunately save the world as at the time i wasnt playing on my own pc. For the lore i cant remember much, but it had something to do with robots and a destroyed world, i know its not much but its the only thing i can remember about it, and the same with the creator i cant remember them. if anyone has a clue lmk please

I want to make a video like that, but first I want to make a quest world of my own so I can understand quest limitations better and properly appreciate what makes a quest world special. Might be a while before I get to that project.
Normally you sit in the chair, press the red button, then control them with your control sticks, but they stopped working for me after the last VRChat update. I had to get the boat shots in this video by picking one up and throwing it where I needed to film it.
its allmost like theres a deeper problem, that people cant go beyond "a nice big house" when you have a virtual universe at your fingertips not bashing anyone that likes that, but like you said its strange
