@@AlboF1 I think it would have been a preview for what he had to endure between 2014 and 2018, playing second fiddle to another driver who was not fond of internal competition. Look how happy and relaxed he seems these days. Not a care in the world and just driving for fun. He even seems more relaxed with the press, though to be fair, Will Buxton seems to put Kimi at his ease. Did you see the interview he did in Monaco with Jean Alesi? It's on You Tube and it's hilarious!
Correction: McLaren used the MP4/17D chassis during the whole of 2003. The MP4/18 was not reliable enough to ever race because the chassis design was an extremely radical car with the rear end and the packaging of the radiators made far too tight.
