i watched most of the meeting and it was so emotional for me, this moment crushed me

I was at the meeting and you could feel it in the entire room. It was like everyone felt crushed for a moment when that happened
I had a similar experience; it was filled with touching moments. Another memorable moment was when Greg Abel simply said, “Well, I need to say: nothing further to add,” and the audience applauded enthusiastically.

How many people actually think Warren Buffet has been running Berkshire the last few years? Without Apple, Berkshire would have been given mediocre returns at best. And going all in on Apple wasn’t even Mr. Buffet’s idea. He’s not a tech guy and has said that himself on numerous occasions. Mr. Buffet is a legend for sure. But the fact is he is so old and should be in a nursing home. The man can barely talk without losing his breath. Peter Lynch imo is the most impressive investor.
Why would you write something like this? 😢 Who cares which investor is in your opinion the best?

I'm pretty sure Warren has said that he isn't the one doing the picking for a while.
It's all about cash flow
Charlie and Warren also have said numerous times, that in their whole career, most of big money is from only a dozen of big winners which been hold for long time, the other deals are just fine. And why you can expect "big idea" happen so frequent? Besides, he still makes a good deals recently, BYD, Ocidental Petrolium, Japan investment, I dont think they are bad deals which make loss.
Respect the goat idiot. His company is the 8th largest in the entire world. He outperformed the market in 2021 and 2022 and while all the tech stocks came down crashing
