On my third now over many years. Got my first a long time ago when I had a tidal mooring and have been using the same model ever since. I always found the tide and moon phase display to be pretty spot on. Tough, waterproof and cheap to replace. A reliable and practical wristwatch.
i was workin in mud, dirt n shit, gshock mudman dissapointed me many times, but this little guy is with me for 8 years now and stil working perfectly, and it was way cheaper than gshock and batterry last for way longer (2 years vs 10 years if im right)
To add to your experience. I used this watch as my daily/work watch on the beaches of Brazil where I''d do 13hs shifts, so it's been through a lot of sand, salt water and even iced water (we had huge coolboxes for sodas, beers and various drinks) for 6 months back in 2012. Right now working on a farm/ranch where it's through a lot of dirt constantly, still running smoothly on its original battery from 2012, almost 12 years of service I love love this watch.
that was a good watch, my father had one and it lasted about 14 or 15 years, unfortunately a few months ago the battery burst and the watch turned off, it had a black spot on the screen that I think is battery acid, I do not know if it is normal for the battery to burst but 15 years was too long, the good thing was that the battery acid did not get out of the watch
Hi there and thank you for commenting! It is a really cool watch, especially with the tide data and moon age graphically represented, plus it is super comfortable on the wrist as well. Cheers, Tony - WTA
@@wetryanythingchannel The moon phase and tide complications show the soul of Casio IMO. They were never afraid to do fun watches you could wear every day without feeling like a joke. I'm still waiting to pick one of those up since they're not sold where I live. Anyways, keep the great videos coming my friend
Thats great to read! I still have the watch featured since the video was uploaded and it is working well to this day, got to love a Casio! Cheers, Tony - WTA
Hi there and thank you for commenting. I didn't find it too bad to look at but if you are after a watch that has the same type of functions but looks a little more pleasing to the eye then check out the Casio AQW-100 (review of which you can find via this link ruclips.net/video/nCd9KAfUSaE/видео.html). It has a nice analogue/digital aesthetic to it and features the phases of the moon as well as high and low tide data. See what you think. Cheers, Tony - WTA
If you follow the link below, which will take you off to the instructions on the Casio website, go to page three and in the Alarm section will be how to set the hourly signal. support.casio.com/storage/en/manual/pdf/EN/009/qw2926.pdf Hope it helps!! Cheers, Tony - WTA

I kept avoiding this watch when it popped up in my Amazon searches. Because of this review, I will be buying it. Thanks!
Thank you for your comment and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed reviewing it!

Great! One question. How Can I turn off the moon and the tide functions . I don't need that. Thank!
Interesting review of an unusual watch that is under reviewed on RUclips.
Does this have an am/pm marking?
yes govna. i like how its unique
Lovely
I saw on Casio official website that case is resin and bezel stainless steel so I'm wondering is that a mistake? It looks all resin to me.
It think only the side part is stainless, the rest is resin
Would you say this is the best moon and tide watch of this price range?
Yes, it is.
A real bargain & fairly accurate.
Always thought this one looked very cool

Upgrade to a nice square: GWX-5600. Solar and mb6.
I still can not work out how to set the hour chime. It just don't seem to want to work on mine.
Good watch apart from that
