Seeing better after cataract surgery

Patrick has always been comfortable being a patient for many years at Mercyhealth. But being a patient, during a pandemic, can make anyone nervous. In early 2020, Patrick had cataract surgery on both eyes with Dr. Diane Boone, opthalmologist at Mercyhealth Javon Bea Hospital and Physician Clinic-Rockton. When he came to see Dr. Boone, he was very pleased because he was nervous. “Mercyhealth is very much up to speed on what to do to protect staff and patients,” Patrick said. “Once you see how they do their procedures, it really relaxes you.” He says she was comforting and he couldn’t be happier.
