In this 3 part video series, I have explained everything about making a 3D house in AutoCAD. The software used for making this house is AutoCAD 2019 but you can use any version that has 3D to make this house. The recommended version is AutoCAD 2016 or later.

I was having trouble with that initial rectangle in AC2020, but this worked:
-Click the rectangle tool and click anywhere on the canvas to select your starting point.
-If using the dimensions tool tip (the length and width inputs near the cursor), immediately enter @ BEFORE entering a length/width. If done correctly, you'll see a little gray @ in a square next to the input.
-Type 45'8", then press Tab or the , key.
-Type 32'8", then press Enter.
If using the Command bar,
-Type RECTANG and press Enter.
-Click anywhere on the canvas to select your starting point.
-In the command bar, click Dimensions.
-Type 45'8" and press Enter.
-Type 32'8" and press Enter.
-Click on the canvas where you want the last corner of the rectangle to be.

In the newer autocad update selection cycling cannot be found. Is there any alternative way to do it?

I've a problem using inches and feet, I've followed thru your video but my diagram is not accurate.. Every time I key in the 45'8",32'8" I get different rectangles.. More guidance please
When i try to do presspull @12:32 , it doesnt work for inner border. Im sure i m selecting both borders but i cant apply presspull for inner border.

I have the same issue. I also tried to put "@" before the dimensions, but it doesn't work either. Were you able to find out?
Same thing. Your rectangle became portrait too right?
Just zoom out your view and try
Happened to me too! I know he mentioned turning off Dynamic Input but I turned it on since it's easier for me to type in 45'-8", 32'-8" and after that, it was the perfect rectangle! I know it's a late reply but hope this helps others!

I had to join the whole layout (type JOIN), then it let me select the boundary
