I hate the sound cue for these treasure hunts. Just like the “bounty hunter” and Cayo Perico Heist Intel treasures, it’s so subtle that you could miss the chest several times before getting the command prompt.

An outfit that was only available in one outlaw pass months ago, and had to pay gold for. Just one sucker punch after another for dedicated Red Dead players.
Just did it on pc you have to close the game with task manager to make it easy go in your settings and put the game in window borderless that way you can easely alt tab right after you collected the chest and end task in taskmanager

The outfit coming to gta might only be a way to say that for the expanded and enhanced they'll bring graphics from red dead to gta, at least that's my theory cause i have absolutely 0 hope this is a hint for a red dead update...
Task Manager-Performance-Resource Monitor- locate GTA5.exe-End Process That should do it.Note that this method is for every version of GTA V on PC (RGL, Steam, Epic). Suspending process is mainly used if you want to create yourself a solo session.I don’t think it works the same with collectibles

Tried this last night on PC, Still works! :) you can be too quick with ending the task so once you see the counter you can end task after half a sec :)
My outfit wasn't there. I collected the 7 boxes,but no outfit. I cut the playback speed to 1/2 as I usually have to whenever any YTer shows menus or maps, and I don't have Outfits:Special,then The Frontier. I tried at my apartment and 3 clothing stores. The glitch works on pc,so I am happy about that!
Yes I’m guessing the reason they put it so low is because you can only get one per GTA day and it’s completely random of which spot it was spawn in so I’m guessing it’s pretty difficult doing it without the glitch
@@holden002 it does actually work, it just doesn’t register in the daily collectibles. Check the feed notifications when you do it. It does show up in there

I did the glitch and i got the outfit and the next time i logged in it goes away the skin just disapeard and the next time i go to a shipwreck it only said 2000 rp and not like 1of the 7
for PC users they can use the no save state to rinse and repeat the process :)! I will personally try to look at them for 7 days (at least no tedious award related to these fewf)
On PC works, by killing the game with resource monitor or disabling network adapters (unplugging Ethernet cable). Fun Fact: you keep the money and RP on PC

Is this patched already? I'm on Xbox and picked the chest and quit over 7 times, went to the wardrobe and no outfit, I go back to the chest, it gives me 20 grand but nothing else comes up..what gives?
i think it would be faster to just collect those manually than to close the entire game, unless ps4 loads 5x faster than xbox or something. by the time my game lods and i get into online i probably could have flown to 3 of those
No there is a pirate hat in Red dead redemption story mode but it’s not connected because red dead redemption is wild west and this is a pirates pirates were way before the 1800s

I’ve searched the map constantly and haven’t found any yet. I think I’m on 4 or 5/7 this is so dumb. I’ve spent hours looking at all locations at different times in game

In steam overly there is there is a Force quit Option try that it's the fastest way to exit the application in nanoseconds

It was given if you either did an impromptu race with someone or sold a car to LS Customs, it's one of the two

I did this and it worked I got all 7 pieces then I went to a clothing store but didn’t see the outfit and I checked every single outfit section

No there all different collectables if you did that you'll only collect the on you'll already have lol or it won't be there since you've collected it

Worked for me. After I logged back in today, the outfit is gone. I no longer have it
I must have done this wrong. Found it at that exact location. Switched outfits. Closed application. Restarted. Spawned right there...no ship wreck 😤
Your comment sounded like you switched outfits after your grabbed the collectible--you're supposed to switch outfits BEFORE you grab the collectible.
