  • Changes in Production Methods: PART 2 - Martins & More with Spoon Phillips. We're back with a new season & some great topics: many of which were suggested by YOU! Today's topic: Part 2 of Changes in Martin production methods over the years.
We're mostly speaking of the D-28 as an example, and we'll stroll through the years to learn how the D-28 changed from 1931 to 1934, into the 50's & 60's, and eventually all the way up to present day. Is the 2024 D-28 anything like the 1950's version? Did D-28s always have a Sitka spruce top? Was the nut width always 1 3/4"? Those answers and so many more - on part 2 of this maiden voyage episode of Martins & More: Season 5.
