A X is a maybe, if you never got used to FaceID or gestures then you could switch back even if you do have an 11, if you do have an 11 though and you got used to the gestures and FaceID then I do not recommend it, if you have an X it’s a maybe but if you have an X you are losing on that OLED, dual camera, FaceID, 1080p display, bezelless design etc, but if you really don’t care about that and all you care about is Software support and price then go for it

Excellent video, as always, Rene. 👍 It looks a compelling phone. Personally, I’d like to see an iPhone SE+ (aka iPhone 8 Plus). The larger form factor with the blistering A13 chip.
Great work Rene! I will say that I'm looking forward to my SE arriving Friday. I traded in my Xr because it's just too big for my pocket and hands, for me it's all about ergonomics. I also like the fact that I'll be able to text or swipe type one handed much easier.
It's not just you, I have *gigantic* hands and can use the 11 Pro Max one handed pretty comfortably, but I'm switching to the SE2 too because it just feels so small and like you don't have a brick attached to ur body. If they could take out some of the internals to make it thinner, make it full screen ( touch ID on the back, no Face ID notch ) I'd pay any price.
@@creayt Oh wow but I can understand completely. I keep the phone in an otterbox for security and it's a brick and doesn't fit in the pocket. 6.1 inches is just too big. extremely well crafted review. in your opinion, is it worth changing a current iPhone X/11 in favor of the newer iPhone SE model?
No
A X is a maybe, if you never got used to FaceID or gestures then you could switch back even if you do have an 11, if you do have an 11 though and you got used to the gestures and FaceID then I do not recommend it, if you have an X it’s a maybe but if you have an X you are losing on that OLED, dual camera, FaceID, 1080p display, bezelless design etc, but if you really don’t care about that and all you care about is Software support and price then go for it
Please more of these videos, I need to get accustomed to this design after iPhone6, 6S, 7, 8, iPad, iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad Air, iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 1, iPad Mini 2, iPad Mini 3, iPad Mini4, iPad Mini 5. And a blend test, as I got weary of bezels somewhere along this unique design evolution
Thanks, Rene :)
Thank *you*!
Excellent video, as always, Rene. 👍 It looks a compelling phone. Personally, I’d like to see an iPhone SE+ (aka iPhone 8 Plus). The larger form factor with the blistering A13 chip.

Im huge iphone se fan . this phone work perfect for my needs !!
Wooo! Was waiting for this. 😁
Me too!
With the Hallide cam app you get nightmode that works almost just as well!

Rene: Fight me in the comments
Finally not click bait
Me: Sigh....old iphone...Apple: Its a feature!
Specifically how long does this last for casual usage and stand by ?
I replaced my iphone x screen to a not-original lcd screen. What are the downsides of moving to an se?
תום רוכברגר bezels
6:00 “gait”?
Fanny Pack !! sounds so funny when you're in the UK :)
Thanks for mentioning the dual sim capability of the SE. So far as I've seen, you're the only one to do so.
Not to mention having Touch ID will be wonderful again. Have tried Android phones yes the fingerprint ID on the back would be awesome.
Bravo. The best review of the SE on the Tube. I am a tech nerd but I’m currently broke. This will hold me over.
Well done sir!! Amazing indebt review of iphone Se,so helpful n informative, so badly needed for decision-making to spend ur money in ths crisis situation👍👍
Nicely done, Rene! As much as I love many of the new features of the iPhones 11, the iPhone 8 form factor is just right for me. Glad to see you saw noticeable improvement in the camera ecosystem over the iPhone 8. I think this might start a hand-me down cycle...
I think half of the world doesn't care about bezels or notches, they look super beautiful
David Konevky but they care about Screen on time
@@BAYDROID It will get you throughout the day if you use it for only 4 hours and that's ok. There are better things to do out there than using gadgets.
@@neverlessification i have around 5hs SOT on average per day. It's just not enough for most of us. And even if it 'w for you... some days you probably will need a bit more, and those days you will regret buying that phone
This is the way reviews should be. Nice job
20 minutes Rene..😁😁😁😁😁
I am me.
@@ReneRitchie good to see your independent..
