I recorded a french horn part on here that was left off the final mix, that generally followed along the lines of the orig horn lines on "Summer Means New Love".
Justin Plank It's still pretty remarkable that he resisted this 50 years later. I heard it and thought, "This sounds familiar!" By the way, I love your Beach Boys videos!!
Some songs just don't need words though. The original version let my own soul and mind take me away on the journey that this melody gives. Great album though for sure.
New Brian LP @ 1st didn't hit me. All of a sudden I'm listening to these richly instrumentally layered compositions, and these melodies, and I'm thinking this is one beautiful album. Nice work here.

Putting lyrics to this seemed to work better than I thought it would. Let's just hope he isnt still thinking of putting lyrics on "Lets Go Away for Awhile". That would be like adding a moustache to the Mona Lisa!
