I have studied from Comsats and also from NUST. Then I pursued my studies in Europe. In my time these universities were more focused on Research and Technology. Now a days especially during the past 2 years the focus of most universities is changed totally. When I talk to Undergrad students then no one talks about Science and technology anymore. Universities have stopped inviting Researchers and Scientists altogether and they are replaced by Religious Scholars of different kinds. I dont see a very bright future with this new push. Please keep universities away from Politics and religious preaching. They can be provided other avenues but not this one. Please Make it a productive space for Science and Technology only as this is the only way to solve most of our existential 3rd world problems. Thanks.

@@raniakhan2863 My point is that please invite people from all walks of Life in Universities. Don't create an exclusion and inclusion culture in Universities. Imagine if top European and American universities will start inviting Christian scholars only and start assuming that they have to address Chrsitians only. On that day they will start an exclusion culture for all Muslims.
Also universities of Sciences and Technologies core focus must be on Research and Development. I have nothing against Religion, but boycotting Non Muslims and inviting only Muslim scholars and also boycotting Scientists and Researchers is Anti Science and Anti Progress in my view. Thanks

I am sure 99% of the students sitting in the class are muslims and they don’t have an issue hearing about their religion. This guy doesn’t talk about religion all the time. He’s a behavioral psychologist who conducts sessions on identity crisis. If he was a religious scholar, he would’nt be giving examples of mahatma gandhi or Nelson Mandela in his sessions saying how these figures brought change because they were true to their identity. How can people achieve something big even in science and technology if they are confused about their basic identity. Altho i do agree with you that universities should invite more personalities who talk about science and technology that should be the main focus

Identities are Always based on Geographical lines especially in America. You can be a Muslim and still as much American as a Christian.
Also you mixed Nelson Mandela here that was not doing any struggle based on religious lines. His struggle was based on segregation based on Racial and geographical lines especially in South Africa.
