I have the Siege version and think it’s great except for one thing…the height. Hasbro could have dropped the “accessories” from the original figure and just added the plastic to the figure itself, making it a true leader size figure
I think at 6:59 youre missing some pieces. There should be 2 extra arms. Edit: nevermind I see em. Its just how you have em attached that threw me off.
Agreed, that first leader Shockwave was some Hasbro B.S. adding useless stuff we don't want to get the "cash in" on collector nostalgia!!!! Although I liked the figure all his extra included wasted plastic is sitting in a drawer somewhere.....useless pieces.
yup, and they're doing it again with Springer and Soundwave.... man, I've given up hope that we'll be getting new mold for that rumored SS86 Optimus... I wouldn't be surprised if they just repacked the earthrise figure with a space bridge or something...
@chefatron I'll probably pick that set up now, I've gotten some many repaints lately, ss 86 Blaster and I'm getting premium finish ghost Starscream and haunted waspinator this week. But seeing the review I might get it now
I disagree there are somethings that ruin it for me like the leader price point because of armor acessories the decepticon logos painting being ruined because of the position of it the lack of white, but is your opinion so it's cool

Wow! Another 10/10 epic win review! Shockwave's Space Battleship mode was seen in Transformers Armada episode 24 was Tidal Wave's Cybertronian form in a different designs.
to me the added parts of the original release make sense to complete the starship look, turning it into a star destroyer with superweapon. and i don't mind the extra bits acting as a deranged scientist's robotics/cybernetics project in robot mode. the improved coloring isn't enough of an upgrade for me to warrant another big purchase. i do think this is how they should do all future iterations of "G1" shockwave, a passable spaceship that with a little imagination or a flip-out peg can turn into a spacegun.
