INARI - EXPEDITION TO NOWHERE

Paddling Lake Inari, Finland, by canoe. Wilderness trip in search of connection with nature. Self supported and authentic adventure by award winning filmmaker Jolanda Linschooten. Together with Frank van Zwol. The wood canvas canoe in the film was self built in Sweden, 7 years before the trip.
Inari archipelago is a large wilderness area in northern Finland. For hundreds of years the indigenous Sami people used to live at its shores.
Fall colours peak in mid September, the trip was during the last 3 weeks of September 2023.
