  • Part 2 of our first week on the road. We had a couple more days in Port Gregory and took a little day trip up the road to Lucky Bay, which was beautiful but insanely windy! Apologies for the wind noise.
We then left Port Gregory and headed to Gladstone Bay for a few nights, with a quick stopover to check out The Lookout on the way past. Then we rounded out week 1 at our first free camp for this trip.

Sorry we missed you up there, that Drone Pilot needs a pay rise just saying. Did you notice the water was cold for this time of the year, we did a heap of diving and fish were few and far between. Loved your new addition Bird book, how come you you didn't flip to the back for the eating quality? How many stars did the crested Tern get? Hey heads up the mesh thing in the roof is for a shower beer! Now I see why we missed ya LOL! Heads up you were wearing Kiwi safety boots there, not snake wranglers, snake wranglers only have a single plug and are much narrower! Cheers for the laughs! Stay safe, and maybe RUclips search how to catch fish!

Haha cheers for the tips mate! I may need to take up bird catching instead of watching to actually get a feed!
How did you guys go up there, get some good weather?
Thanks for watching mate and we always like reading your comments! 👍👍

Yeah mate, just found you guys and looking forward to catching up on your trip so far 👍🏼
Hiccup fix, you need to sit down and relax (a quiet spot is ideal) head back and nice even breathing, calmly concentrating as your breathe in through your nose and out your mouth, nice and slow and deep. Usually need about 4 cycles or so and I'm good to go.

Yeah I'll try that one next time! Kel reckons she takes a mouthful of beer and a teaspoon of sugar 🤔 reckons it works haha.
