  • Sharkbay finally gave us a small window of decent weather so we were able to get the tinny out and we managed to grab a couple of squid for dinner!
We get down to Horrocks for a couple of days and check out Lucky Bay, head out for some snorkeling to grab a couple of crayfish. Only found 2 that were sized, thousands of little ones around which is good to see.
Rain settles in and we make the call to head to Bunbury to finish off our house ready for rent.

try putting the squid and the mix in a plastic bag and then shake - this also works for all things you want to crumb or flour

True that mate, it's also a good go to method. 👍👍

Squiding is my favourite. Well done. Trying to catch up on all uour vids. Great to watch. Planning on getting a rooftop tinny for my 2018 colorado. Just wondering if you know whats the maximum length i could go for easy load and unloading?

Arr mate I have to admit I could live on squid, not just fun to catch but so so tasty 😋!
Size is as big as your willing to go and what your setup is to carry it. Ours new tinny is only 53kg and 3.6m and I can load by hand. I wouldn't go over 80kg tinny and 15hp. Everything just starts to become way to heavy!

Allright i got some pointers for ya, cause you prob dont get any :p First off you gotta have ya tongue out to the left... allways. When chasing squid make sure you are wearing the holey undies with the slight chance of ball exposure. More tips will cost ya :)

Arrrr mate this is brilliant advice!! I knew I should keep those old jocks for a reason!! Expose 1 ball or both just to be sure? 🤔
