I am heartbroken and sad to see my favorite show character pass on like that. Gonna be interesting to see how Simon and Yoko handle this and maybe we'll finally get to know the character mc growth out of Simon.

If you notice the lights for the inside of Kamina’s gunmen weren’t on near the end cause he was already dead. He literally came back to life through willpower just to help Simon. “A real man never dies, even when he's killed!”
