I think a lot of people dislike Subaru because of what he said and did without putting themselves into his shoes. It makes perfect sense for him to get upset and angry over any little thing after everything he's been through honestly it's surprising it took him this long to snap. It would take a godly amount of willpower to keep your emotions in check after going through hell as many times as he did. Now of course it wasn't right and we shouldn't expect anyone in the show to understand what he has been through because he isn't able to tell them, but we as viewers gotta cut him a little slack because we do know what he has suffered through.

Having seen this without knowing anything was great, unfortunately, a lot of people nowdays loves to spoil every anime that they watch (for example, JJK or Chainsaw Man manga images of episodes that are not published yet), and that affects the overall experience of a show IMO.
Many people like to criticize subaru but let’s think for a second. Many of us would have given up on life after our 3rd death or so. That shit is traumatizing. You’re saying what he did there was wrong but I bet if emilia knew what he was going through that scene would have ended differently plus he was bound to snap sooner or later
Ep 15 by itself made this anime memorable. The overwhelming feeling of awe and dread, just witnessing brutal violence knowing that subaru can't do anything but break down and despair. And the credits roll with the realization that Puck is a terrific force of nature bound by contract to destroy everything if emilia ever died. Not only that, but the horrible feeling that there's so much going on that we don't know off, everything feels confusing, disorienting, but our dear characters are all dying left and right over and over again. It's crazy.
Don't you find it convenient that everything happened after Emilia left Subaru. Even in episode 1, it's so convenient that Emilia keeps dying after Subaru was transported to another world. Soooo... If Subaru was not transported to this world, or he doesn't have "Return by Death", will events still play as it is? Why does Sloth think Subaru is Pride. I wonder 🤔🤔🤔.
Subaru is right in that Emilia would not be able to survive without him. But just because Subaru is right, doesn't mean he's doing the right thing. The right thing to do would be to support Emilia, and to build her up to realize her own potential. What he does instead is build up his pride and a savior complex, finding his identity (and quelling his insecurity) in being Emilia's savior. Betelgeuse is right, Subaru only acted crazed, whether for attention or pity or to escape reality. The second Rem was hurt he "snapped" back, and after losing her, he's back to normal. It really was because of Subaru that Rem died. Because of HIS inaction, HIS self pitying and wallowing, he failed to respect the weight of his actions and how they would deeply affect the people around him, the people (like Rem) who care about him. Truly slothful.
As annoying as Subaru is, he’s actually not wrong. He just lacks tact. His decision to go back to the mansion when Rem feels something is wrong is actually the correct decision in hindsight.
Uhm no, his decision to go back literally just leads to him getting traumatized even more, the whole point is that he needs to learn that this is not how it works and that Emilia is in fact not more powerless than himself(on the contrary, he is far more powerless by himself).
@@gunchar06I think him getting closure is more important. Plus from a narrative standpoint, how is he supposed to learn anything from the world he is now living in? Subaru is an amazing tactician during the Whale Fight, in s2, in s3 (Arc 5), in arc 7 and also in arc 8. He is smart for going out of his way to get information even if it doesn’t seem like it, but in hindsight, he is amassing a shit ton of info to trial and error some lives.

Having seen this without knowing anything was great, unfortunately, a lot of people nowdays loves to spoil every anime that they watch (for example, JJK or Chainsaw Man manga images of episodes that are not published yet), and that affects the overall experience of a show IMO.
I'm waiting for when the debate for "who is the best girl?" is gonna happen
we only one magical cat who also use frost thing i wonder who is it x)
Dungeon Meshi when?
I’m not really a fan of Re:Zero, but this episode is super well done and it's so fun to watch people react to! Plus, Alana is always fun to watch…
Betelgeuse has the same VA as Inosuke ... Mwahahaha
It's kinda sad you didn't watch the OVA memory snow first LOL this episode hurts more if you watched that OVA
I say it every time but the more you watch I'm sure the more you begin to agree that Rem is #1 of all anime.
Many people like to criticize subaru but let’s think for a second. Many of us would have given up on life after our 3rd death or so. That shit is traumatizing. You’re saying what he did there was wrong but I bet if emilia knew what he was going through that scene would have ended differently plus he was bound to snap sooner or later
the geuse is loose
#teamRem since the next episode c:
24:28 Remember that line
(for when?)
mieruko chan REACTION PLEASEEE!
If subarau was't around emilia is dead
Welcome to re:zero lol
