  • We are still not sure how Bulls Aye lost this race at Ayr! He looked to have the race sewn up before tiring late on and was collared by Hostelry 😲

    Ran out of gas and the horse decided it was enough for the day. The jockey couldn't do anymore

      It had pulled too hard in the first half of the race, used up too much energy.

    Pulled like a train from the start and was exhausted. The line came just a couple of strides too late.

    Well anyone who has ever watched a horse race knows why he lost the race. Why doesn't anybody who writes captions for RTV know that horses that don't settle rarely last home?

    jockey looked very amateurish, but that said the horse also appears to pull it self up at the 1 pole either that or knackered .

      The horse looks like a bleeder meaning it bleeds from it lungs causing it stop quickly this may also be the reason the horse was keen or free because it was anticipating its lungs bursting! This is why some horses where tongue ties or noseband and have Wind Operations the majority if horses with wind problems don't make great saying horses only sprinters

      @@jordangeraghty229 Horses don’t get wind ops for bleeding. Doesn’t look like the horse burst either he just blew up because of the terrible ride he was given and his ears pricked

      @Tony0901 I just meant horse with bad wind need wind ops in some cases! It has ran over jumps so unlikely but the way it stopped males ye question that it could be anticipating something it does where a nose band and carries its head high

      Very sexist remark. Sophie is definitely female and quite attractive in poor visibility. She rides like me, always looks in danger of falling off.

    Sophie was really unlucky. Bulls Aye pulled too much and got burnt out. It’s a race Bulls Aye would have otherwise won.

      A stronger jockey would've restrained the horse better leaving more for the finish and won the race, whether that jockey was male or female.
      But at the end of the day horses are way way stronger than humans if one of them wants to bolt they are bolting.

    Nothing to do whatsoever with the horse pulling. The jockey simply wasn't strong enough to see him home.

    After watching im inclined to think the Jockey was a load of crap, better Jockey would have got him home just IMO.

      A better jockey would also not have been allowed to ride in this race as it was an apprentice race for riders who have not ridden more than 25 winners. It’s literally a race designed to give inexperienced riders a chance to learn their craft !

    Horse pulls way too hard and has nothing left in the finish and loses. Any idiot who knows anything about horse racing knows why bulls aye lost.
    The real losers here were the people who backed him at 1.01 in running and are probably crying themselves to sleep tonight.

    Race was for the taking in running,,then it needed a half decent jockey....which she isn't yet..
