Great video unfortunately I got into O&A after the show ended. But I have been listening for a few years and I can’t get enough! They are definitely pioneers to podcasts we all listen to today. Great video man
i discovered them in early 2014, listening to all the old appearances of louis and then of patrice. then i had the bright idea later on in the year that i should try and catch a show live. so i looked it up and discovered ant had been fired just 3 days prior lmao. worst timing ever :(
Lot of new insights into the incidents. Thanks for the video. Also, remember that O&A stated that Menino was found with a “young gentleman” in the wreck of his car. I’m sure that didn’t aggravate tension with the mayor!
I started listening in 2016 really to get more Louis ck content thinking the show had been off the air for like 10 years, not knowing I only missed it by two years and opie and jim were still on
I didn't have time to get into it in the video, but there's just so many years of them where they were kind of in the siriusXM bubble and it seemed like speaking into the void. The timeline gets messy for me after the years they did the FM Radio/Sirius split
No, they meant because Anthony used to work in HVAC. He had a job in Opie studio. They goofed around and got along and Opie of all people brought Anthony into radio (obviously, Opie's been in radio since he was 18). It wasn't because of submitting an OJ song.
Your Mom's Box!
I might do a sex for sam episode just so I can end it that way
@PopCultureHyperfixations OK Terrific!
Famous last words lol

Thanks man, I grew up listening to them on bcn and didn't even realize the connection to the Menino prank until years later

It was both. Anthony and his brother were brought in to perform it live, and the two hit it off and Ope asked Anthony to cohost.
