@@deepakrsna7350 so you know, I tried a few without any noticeable difference. Usually it's just size and shape I'm thinking. @@randomDIYandstuffThere are variations of rotis that are rooted in India but have been consumed for years. They can be so different from the Indian roti that it's helpful and distinguish them with Indian roti, Carribbean roti etc
This is Thai, and it’s pretty fantastic-most countries in South East Asia have Indian influences and there’s usually a variation of a sweet crepe with bananas, crush peanuts (if you’re allergic to peanuts-dried and roasted chickpeas are a great substitute) and sugar (chocolate is optional) in every country.
I'm getting a really good laugh out of all of the Indian's in the comments, getting mad about something that's based on a Thai dish because they didn't read the first line of the pinned comment.
Oh that's it, now you've gone and done it. This is genius like Thai Roti Pancake!!!!! Edit: Made it with egg like Puy Roti Lady. It was effing delicious. 💖
Kokosmilch ist eh immer vegan. Gibt nur ne Marke, die leider Affen zur Kokosernte nutzt. Einfach googlen. Sollte man also nicht so unterstützen. Trotzdem ist auch in dieser Marke nichts tierisches enthalten im Endprodukt.
I made this even though I was sceptical (due to bad past experiences with rice paper hack type recipes)! Its genuinely really nice! The sweet/sourness of cooked banana really covers up the strange tart sourness with rice paper and the texture is better than I would have anticipated! Think I went little heavy handed on the peanut butter but definitely will go into my catalogue of "when the sweet tooth hits but im too lazy to go shopping" type recipes. Thank you so much for sharing ❤
I feel with all the indians here having a minor heart attack thinking it was the indian dish cuz my brain made Roti and Rösti synonomous for a second and i had the exact same reaction before i realized my brain had lagges for a moment
Fully expected the "If ur not using rice paper to make roti" to end with "ur doing it wrong" but no it was "ur def missing out" 100% more positive and nice, keep up with the awesome content and recipes!
I MADE THIS YESTERDAY AND YOU HAVE TO TRY IT❗️❗️❗️ It’s such a tasty dessert. I only put a bit of maple Sirup on top of the bananas in the rice paper and they were kind of cooked in that. It was so delicious and crispy. But you should like the banana when it’s soft.
ohh yeahhhh the Thai street snack is made with whisked eggs. Mya's pb version would also be amazing with maple inside instead of condensed milk coz that's on the outside 😂❤
In Reispapier kann man alles Leckere verpacken, Süßes oder Deftiges, Gemüse oder Käse, gedämpft oder besser gebraten oder frittiert schmeckt es immer.🎊👍🏻
In Thailand, roti is often a delicious street food dessert! Can be savory depending on the toppings you choose. Thank you, India, for being the birthplace of so many amazing things💛
I didn't expect Amina to react to Bikertok videos . The Biker videos on RUclips are so much more wholesome than whatever..... that is. But let's be fr, you DO like Biker boys. Right, right!!
While it looks sooo delicious, I don't think rice papers are a goid substitute for real roti pancakes batter, however your version is still quick and tasty 😋 I love it!

Almost everything you make I like and want to try and I'm not vegan. Did you go to school for culinary?
Hi
.please share which rice paper brand you are using

I loved this idea, but could you make a savoury version?
Yum! What brand vegan condensed milk are you using?
It’s not Indian savory roti but Thai sweet banana roti for the people who is confused
Thank you. As an Indian, I was confused as hell
Roti is Indian, thai ppl even stole our curry and now call it as Thai curry. Cheaters!!
I too was confused 😂

@@ExistentialDodoWell I thought it was Indonesian roti which literally means "bread"😂😂
Just after hearing "rice paper to make roti" my Indian heart was like "Aayein?" 💀

I learned now that south-east asia also has their own versions of the Indian Roti and paratha very interesting, I'd like to try it someday.
Roti John or roti canai are very popular in Malaysia/Singapore
Indian roti or paratha isn't a thing. A roti is a roti and a paratha is a paratha. Wether made in india or Pakistan or any other place
@@randomDIYandstuffThere are variations of rotis that are rooted in India but have been consumed for years. They can be so different from the Indian roti that it's helpful and distinguish them with Indian roti, Carribbean roti etc
Absolutely! A roti is a roti! Let's not say it's mainly from India and they have customized it or something! It's their food and that's ours! ❤
It's delicious and there's quite a lot of variety as well@@randomDIYandstuff
My indian heart almost had a heart attack after listening to the 1st 2 lines😅😅
same lol
Might be the first time i see someone talking about roti and meant thai roti for once 🤣

The way she said "rrrotii" is soooo cute

Hey we are not getting mad we were just shocked, 😂please don't take it seriously
More like confused 😅 but it's good to know there are dishes called roti that don't necessarily resemble the ones we get here.
Who the fuck is mad? Confused more like
We, Indonesian, have something similar and it's called piscok. instead of peanut butter we use chocolate
Ooh, that sounds even better!
Pisang coklat? SGSHDMMSNMMMM
Pisang coklat😋😋🤤🤤 enak tuhh
Often we also add grated cheese mixed in, cheese pairs so well with banana and chocolate, so it makes the banana doubly delicious😋
@@apriliahussna4561interesting. 🤔 Ill try that, with vegan cheese of course
Your way of pronouncing roti is so cute !
She pronounced it like an Italian. :D
@@sandracarli1110 yes !

Reading comprehension in the comments is killing me.

This sounds great! Where did you find vegan condensed milk? This is one of those ingredients I have not found yet anywhere 😊
If you're in the UK you can get it in most supermarkets sometimes it's hiding in the free from section. I know Asda keeps it there.
If you can't find it at all, it's actually pretty easy to make with just coconut milk and sugar
Its coconut milk condensed milk
Yupp. As she is located in Germany, I would love to find out where she buys it. 😊
@@bobafrogscan I use coconut milk or coconut cream from a can? Or is there something else I can use instead?

Vegan or not, that looks freakin delicious.
This with plantains instead of bananas and brown sugar butter would be delicious yum~
Hey :) woher hast du die vegane Kondensmilch?
The one shes using I have found only online - at velivery, iHerb, Kaufland and Amazon websites.
Called „Nature´s Charm Gesüsste Kondens Kokosmilch“
Kokosmilch ist eh immer vegan. Gibt nur ne Marke, die leider Affen zur Kokosernte nutzt. Einfach googlen. Sollte man also nicht so unterstützen. Trotzdem ist auch in dieser Marke nichts tierisches enthalten im Endprodukt.
What about a more savory roti? That would be a bit more filling! Love this recipe though! ❤
