There is a temptation to make fun, but I guarantee these 3 are happier than most of us watching. These kinds of environments are tough to play, because it's literally just a school canteen. No one's even come to see any music, people are milling around, but the band are surging on anyway and having the best time. You gotta give some encouragement. They just need some experience under their belt, so more practice (unlike people I've played with, these lot actually sound rehearsed), and they're already showing the determination to do that. We all started out like this.
drummer of Electric Wizard, Simon Poole, was my tutor during my dissertation at uni. He'd love this i'm sure. Or he'd completely avoid watching it in the first place, either way, this is cool.
Some people think they are sooooo cool walking by while completely ignoring these guys. If someone would be playing Electric Wizard at my school I'd lose my fucking shit.
The cringing are pretty cringe if you ask me. Not perfect sure but then nothing decent ever is, even when at it's best. In any event they're covering stuff from my favorite album by them 💁. The vocals could likewise use some reverb however.. Meanwhile, check out all the clueless "students of conformity" droning on to their next class haha.

This is awesome, when I was in highschool I was playing doom/ sludge/ drone more along the lines of boris and Kylesa and then went the route of black metal but I loved jamming out to this kind of stuff. It's fucking awesome that you guys hit it this hard at your school! Keep that OD plugged in after highschool to and keep going, at 26 I can guarantee you you'll have a sick time in your 20s and onwards in the music scene and don't be afraid to sing Vinum Sabbathi at Karaoke night in college

You guys ROCK! Keep up the hard work and keep on DOOMIN'! Pretty cool of your school to let you play, back in my days the teachers would have directly killed the electricity if we moved too much on stage or played to "hard" or "loud"... So we had to seal the fuse box with tons of Gaffa and nasty stuff and block the stage door, so that the teachers couldn't come on stage so easily and drop the courtain on us, and we turned shit up to 11 and rocked the school anyways! The other kids rocked out, moshed and banged, and we nearly could play all our songs before the Janitor and the headmaster finally managed to kill the power, turn the whole school into a darkroom and yell at us like a effing drill seargeant! We all got expelled for a week and were forbidden to ever play in school again, but that gig was still talked about over 10 years after we all finished high school! Wish I had known Electric Wizard back then, had LOVED to play a Song like Funeralopolis there! :D

Wow great job! Nice touch with the distortion on the vocals, love that attention to detail. Solid performances overall. My main nitpick is to make sure the volume on your wet tones is dialed in to complement your main dirty rhythm tone so you don't get that incongruously loud intro to Funeralopolis lol

One of the deepest memories of my early childhood was sitting on the floor of the elementary school cafeteria while a band of long haired high school kids absolutely blasted us with thick and screaming early '80s metal riffs. I felt the music thundering through my 8 yr old body. Didn't feel that again until I started going to concerts many yeara later. Keep up the good work!

Tried converting my school into metalheads by at first getting them started in the comfort zone with crazy town and moving to Rage against the machine and Deftones before going full Death and Slayer and finally Burzum and Mayhem. It didn't work out.

If anything, the fuzz is too silent.The cymbals just overpowered it. And since you can't really turn down the volume on drums on the fly ...
