Hey Matt, your 3 seat duna ssto video with the song Summer in the City has disappeared. Did you delete it or was it taken down by youtube? It is weird because I looked up that song on youtube music policies and it is allowed and can be watched in all the countries.

"We fire the whole base! That's 98% more base, per base!" -One of the Motto's of Supernovae industries Mottos aside, I dont really do interplanetary much. I gained much of my experience flying around kerbin, to the point where I can send thousands of tons per trip to planets and build entire colonies easily. But as I said, I dont venture much into the interplanetary scale...
For me you're a cox: you're starting to make a science space station around the Duna: I'm just starting to make a space station orbiting Kerbin, yesterday I've passed the ,,Docking" training, and just a few weeks ago I carried out Science Duna Probe, without rover, so you're hundred times better than me.
I know that. I know, that I need more practise but I'm not going to be sąd or to give up: this space station is a docking practise for me. Also, I tried to say him, that he isn't as bad, as he sayed, and, also, to don't allow him to give up.
That would be cool. You could build it on a platform nearish the bottom, supported by a bunch of girders that rest against the sides of the funnel-shape. Maybe. I dunno
Hello, I'm your subscriber from Russia, and I want to say that your content is at a high altitude! It's very nice to watch your videos, I'll take an example from you on building in the KSP. You are awesome!
And that energy isn't for free. You basically steal it from the planet (or whatever you get the assist from), so if you do enough gravity assists you can change it's orbit. In the same way that the Moon takes energy from Earth, slowing down Earth's rotation and moving the Moon into a higher orbit.
About a week ago I've tried to put a base on Gilly. So, when building the craft I tried to remember if I forgot something. I thought I didn't... On Kerbin escape I realized: I forgot the antenna.... My craft ran on a probe core and it did not take too long before it disconnected... So... Flying in space... WAIT *facepalm* So, as it turned out I DID NOT forget the antenna. It seems that you can't extend antenna while having no control. I tried save editing. Didn't work. The antenna was extended, but still no connection. I really think that it should be possible to extend antenna of craft even if it has no connection. I think in real life probes do it automaticly.
Mk Km that reminds me once I forgot to extend the solar panel, but remembered right at the last second. I clicked extend right when the energy ran out, and the solar panel still extended all the way, and the ship was saved.
Mk Km that's why I always put static solar panels on my craft, their only purpose is to give me enough power to open my main solar panels. I can't tell you the amount of times I've deployed a rover only to remember I didn't put static solar panels on it, or the probes rendered uncontrollable even though they have solar panels, but their power ran out before they were deployed.
Lol, I was running a probe core once and i gave it full access to kerb net. Long story short it's gained consciousness and taken over the space program.
Hi Matt. I honestly love your videos. I dont care if they are commentary or music because i watch both! You are one of the best Kerbal Space Program youtubers and i hope you keep creating these videos. I cant wait for that SSTO because i love them. You are the best! Keep up the good work and i hope you keep impressing us viewers and the KSP community. Thanks!
I think that with all the talk about colonizing Mars and stuff, it would be very entertaining to your audience if you were to create a colonization series where you colonize Duna using the following mods: 1. Modular Kolonization System (great base parts, actual colonization game-play mechanics, tools for self sustaining bases, and many other things to make Kerbals a multi-planetary species) 2. USI Life Support (required for MKS to function properly and for maximum amount of usable colonization game-play mechanics)
I like bases and stations more, but missions to places are cool too! I like watching all of your vids ;D keep up the good work Matt! Great vid btw and nice base i like it!
I use the MK-3 parts for my largest rovers. I can usually put my working parts inside the mk3 cargo bay, and the mk3 passenger module works quite well for crew capacity purposes.
I dont see so much mobile bases on kerbal space program. But that one its the best i ever see on the other videos about mobile bases. Its Amazing and have the principals itens when its out of gas and stuff, and its have a cool style, Good job Matt.
If real life was exactly like ksp then if everyone had made only 1 shuttle that would be 19,079 players as of the time i had made this comment X the estimated cost courtesy of the NASA wikipedia would be $450,000,000 or 19,079 x 450,000,000 = $8.58555e+12 but the total estimated cost of the average amount shuttles each player has in there hanger is about lets say 50 successful shuttles only counting the successful ones the total cost would be about $4.292775e+14 or 8.58555e+12 x 50 = 4.292775e+14 nd in the process at least kerbin and another small planet would be sucked dry of resources. (pls pin me i don't want this to get lost it took me 1 hour and 30 minutes to do if i had not used a calculator it would of taken so much longer)
wow thats a lot of science...even for me. (i am a very sciencey person and i do a lot of big calculations e.g: 1x2x3x4x5x4x3x2x1=2,880. i did that in my head once for the sake of it. Also there is 9,192,631,770 transitives between two caesium atoms in a second.)
Makes me think of getting back into KSP. It has been a long time since I first (crash) landed on mun. Game looks so different from it's early days for stock parts.
Do you have any videos on like KSP for Dummies? I kind of know how to use the periapsis features and how to get an encounter, but I find the learning curve for this game is very steep. I don't know how to measure my fuel potential in Delta V and stuff. And maybe even some build guides for beginners on what you'd need to make a trip to Mun or Duna. I'd love to see a video like that.
Hi Matt! The space stations and bases are a nice break from your usual fare of SSTO missions, but i think I'm ready to see more missions. Don't forget about your stations and bases, though- they look great, and I love seeing them!
Abdolutely lovely vehicle! It's been a while, so it's nice to see that u have had your work cut out :) have a nice weekend you weird space-wizard-man :)
I prefer the space stations and bases but it would be cool if one episode could be you sending a base somewhere and another could be you sending an SSTO with an extra module or crew or supplies. Not a series per say, just two related episodes.
Matt, you are a COX: You bulited mobile Duna base, so it doesn't need a rover, because ALL THE BASE IS A ROVER! That was (and is and will be) so smart ;)
i'd like to see a one build mission, rover, 3 planetary satellite array, landbase, space station and transport shuttles, ALL in ONE launch! you can do it man

Matt Lowne: cool.. Maybe for another video you should do a SLS recreation for duna. :)
👍
nice work :3

Hey Matt, I would definitly like more orbital and/or planetary bases in the future. Great videos, by the way!
hexa asdf just realizing it wasn't in the channel anymore,nooo...
The entire start of this video is a wonderful accidental rap
Yea that opening song S L A P P E D

Lol
While I try and struggle to build Space station orbiting Duna, this guy just build planetary bases for fun.
Man I need some practice

Genius
Such mastery
Omfg it all rhymes and is almost on beat
ah, kerbals. smiling in a craped seat for the entirety of a 75-year mission.
stillFLiP I think they would because in the trailer there was this MASSIVE engine
Spacefarer I can’t tell if you mean craped or cramped but it works either way
its great to see the KSC become so advanced, it reminds me of the time when Jeb was alive, before the *cough cough* accident
Robbaz makes great work of you!
Go to Robbaz!
he's a RUclipsr...
xd Jeb is alive!!!
Bob Kerman that accident is a piece of classified information, we do not speak of it.

That would be cool. You could build it on a platform nearish the bottom, supported by a bunch of girders that rest against the sides of the funnel-shape. Maybe. I dunno
that would almost require grabbers as legs, could be very interesting to see the design. maybe make it like an oil rig like structure
The one dislike was from a flat-kerbiner.
What about president Krumpf?

Great video Matt! Mobile bases are so extremely useful, I love them personally. Anyway, top quality as always!
Easily one of the coolest rovers I've ever seen. Keep up the great work Matt!
I enjoy basicly all your videos of this type, no matter the subject. commentary and a cut together flight is pretty cool.
Duna! DUNA!!! I LIKE DUNA!
Oh, you're a great KSP rocket builder and machinima director, by the way :)
Vanilla KSP really needs some good crew cabins for rovers. Maybe a surface-grade docking port too.
Very Nice channel! +rep From Russia with love
Hello i watched your latest livestream
Yes, I remember you. Yes, and now on my stream)
You where that guy from the stream!
Disable adblock I'm starving

More spacestation and base vids
Awesome to see
I was watching some kerbal space programm vidoes and now Im here and Its pretty cool
Makes me think of getting back into KSP. It has been a long time since I first (crash) landed on mun. Game looks so different from it's early days for stock parts.

yep
"Time to Apoapsis: Infinitys"
dat intro was BRUTAL! it sounded like you where actually going along with the music. too bad it didn't rhyme. dropped a like just for that. the rest of the footage and commentary was a awesome too!

Awesome build, although my one tweak is I would have a fuel cell for power as well since you have mining and processing compatibility.
just do what you want, it's pretty cool to see either way
i wish there were VAB's on duna that required materials you brought with you on the rocket to build anything. that would actually be really cool just because then you could make like houses and other stuff on duna rather than having to send fully assembled things. idk it would just be really cool

Awesome design and great launch.
thats the best rover i seen in a long time way to go.
This is amazing! i suck so bad at this game, all by orbits look like potatoes and i havent even landed on the mun yet
SkeletonMan so did I
Orbit: a curved path of a celestial body or space craft around a star, planet, or moon, so it doesnt matter how mu h of a potato your krbit is its still an orbit :D
i cant do an satelite thats reachs out of atmoshpere :\
I miss the old intro music. :(
That’s why I like watching these older videos
Love the Conker Bad Fur Day music!
That looks very great to me, very nice rover.
Thats amazing! Inspired me to play this game again. Greetings from Germany
Looks WAY more stable than your Mun base rover - starting with the landing mechanism. After I downloaded your craft file for the Mobile Mun base, I had to trade in two of the radiators for front wheel space to increase stability.
- not to mention I had to get VesselMover for when the rovers tip.
I prefer bases/Space stations. They give me a better idea about what I'm doing well and not so well with my launch vehicles and lifters, in terms of aerodynamics that is. It helps me better plan out my missions to other planet systems
8:12 "our speed is very very bleeding off"
i love the way it looks.
awesome looking rover!
I think it would be neat to make a high altitude aircraft designed for combat
Would love to see a mission using the OPT space-plane mod... Love the work tho!
I prefer the Space/moon/etc Station videos.
But i really like most of your videos :)
1:25 here we go deploying the fairings
I watch his videos while doing my chores.
I'd like to see more tips and tricks for efficient SSTOs. People do all sorts of nonsense like lots of fins, too many engines, Mk2 Crew Cabin (which makes an almost unbelievable amount of drag, check it out), etc. What is actually practical, if not bling or fancy?
I remember this being the first video I saw from you
When i heard that beat come on I thought you were about start spitting some fire
You should try and make a Gilly base. Hopefully big enough to see from orbit.
Matt & Busta Rhymes-Beats? Never heard that before!
Wouldn't the astronomical term be free-falling?
you sir just earned yourself a subscriber
personally, I preferred the Eeloo SSTO vid, but that was mainly because of the collab.
minecraft, planetbase, birthdays the beginning, simple planes and no man's sky:)
Little happy with the contrast in editing today Matt? XD
NO EXPLOSIONS TODAY!
Decouples landing stuff on Duna and watches it explode like firworks.
I like anything that daddy Matt makes
What sort of videos I prefer: the kind where the producer (Lowne) doesn't ask me (someone whom subscribes to see more Lowne videos) what to do! xD Any suggestion of your audience is almost certain to lower the quality of the video, whereas your improv'd videos are doing just fine. FAVOURITE VIDEO ON RUclips!
A rover, if you will. A *rover base*!
I want to see space stations going to really weird places.
This colorcurves are too extreme ^^ Nice video
i do like the conkers music used lol
Id like to see more tutorials to other celestial bodies without heavy editing because I like seeing the maneuvers and them being executed. So kinda like this video just for more simple missions
Matt, you just learned me a thing.
Thx u
was the video made brighter in post production or am i crazy
Yeah I used colour correction. Bumped the brightness, crushed the blacks and sharpened the edges. Trying to combat RUclips's horrible video compression algorithms
This video is awesome :), I think you should make an MK3 rover and send it somewhere, because then it could have a hangar and stuff
That banjo & kazooe nostalgia
When landing i think an Aero-foil might work better than so many parachutes.
Like everything you're doing. It's great, can you make tuts on how to get to other planets, best timings for encounters..
You carnt just add throttle with yellow drag tool
And pink one to got up and down. Goes crazy.
If you look at it like a clock, then it has to be set at 7:30. Kerbin needs to be the hour hand and duna needs to be the minute hand.
It's a cool looking rover but seriously, you could have saved so much weight from that rocket landing stage.
