I wanna sell just half of my portfolio this year, other half tbh - it's a cash I don't need and I prefer to keep it in crypto. These levels would trigger me to sell: BTC @150k, SOL $500, ETH @ 15k. Are these levels reasoable for 2024? I feel like we are already high but then i keep hearing that bull cycle hasnt even started yet lol
I would say reasonable for this cycle but quite ambitious for this year alone ... could happen but unlikely
Although I missed the bottom as mentioned before I had a lump sum investment around 25K. I remember you said looking back I would only regrret not buying more and that becomes more true every day.
The reason why I am doing DCA now and will continue to do so is that my salary comes in monthly. I cant lump sum unless I take out some kind of loan whch is not an option.. so I am stuck buying at higher prices or just putting cash on the side for dips/futre beak markets. So I think DCA appeals to people who dont have a lot of cash piled up yet, but have a regular income.
P.S. What do you think of supercycle theory?
yes if DCA is the only option then thats all you can do... but in hindsight, putting that 25K in lump sum would have been best ... every bull stage people talk about the Super Cycle and it never happens ... all markets are cyclical ... not one market ever just goes straight up and never down .... could happen but very unlikely

Hi Nathan, thanks for sharing the views on exit strategy for bitcoin. It makes a lot of sense. But you have not shared any criteria or baseline for exit strategies for rest of your profit such as Solana, Ethereum and Optimism. Would it be possible for you please if you share your views for exit strategy on the above mentioned coin.
So this is when I would sell all...based off where Bitcoin is... its too hard to predict how high alts will go. They are way too volatile.... so I base it off BTC.

Thanks - big fan- please do a vid on exit strategy if you decide to sell majority of crypto from a UK TAX AVOIDENCE POV, i.e, is it possible to avoid capital gains tax ?. Could one create an account in a bank in a country where there is 0 capital gain tax, and then link that ac to a crypto exchange?-Please help/advise/send a link with tips etc??
So as mentioned my COIN position will be tax free but as for everything else I plan on paying the 20% CGT .... the last thing I want is for a phone call or knock at the door a few years from now from the tax man wanting money from me... I want a happy peace of mind stress free life
Thanks! Interesting to hear perspectives. Personally, I don't want to sell Bitcoin this time round, but again collateralized it to take out a loan, which I plan to invest in my mortgage. The aim is to manage my risk better than last time, though. And of course, I don't wish to pay any tax - another plus of borrowing..

Hi Nathan! What do you think, will C20 investors (like you and me) ever get back their money?
I think probably 5% back but…. With writing it off as a tax loss… you should pay that amount less off your capital gains tax… and so technically not lose any money … that’s the plan

I can totally relate to the timelines as I also go in mid-2017 and made 20x and then lost 80% of the value again from the peak.
Made decent money by right entry and exit in 2021.
