Why assume everyone who says they’re a Christian is born again? They should have mentioned that one possible reason for recurring sin is being an unregenerate, false convert. That was the case for me. Instead of talking about the unpardonable sin which didn’t even hear mentioned in the question, they should have mentioned 2 Cor 13:5, the need to examine one’s faith to be sure one is indeed in the faith.

The only way to overcome sin is by the power of the Holy Spirit which we recieve when we are Born Again.
    Scripture says:
Colossians 2:11: "and in Him (Jesus) you were also circumcised with a circumcision performed without hands, in the removal of the body of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ,"
Jesus removes the flesh nature and we lose sinful desires. Not many people believe in the power of the Holy Spirit to enable them to be righteous and to live righteous. If one is not born again they cannot enter God's kingdom.
    Ezekiel ch 44-9
"This is what the Sovereign LORD says: No foreigner uncircumcised in heart and flesh is to enter my sanctuary, not even the foreigners who live among the Israelites."
Those who struggle with sin do not have the Holy Spirit. They are still under the law and they will be judged by the law. They are trying to control their sins on their own because they don't believe that Jesus removes the flesh nature when he baptises us with the Holy Spirit. They deny that the we can live without sin through the power of the Holy Spirit. It is their unbelief in the power of God to deliver them that keeps them from receiving true salvation.

Are you without sin? Does not one wicked thought enter your mind even once a day? Serious question.

I’d like a reply to my comment, but I’d like to remind you if you don’t. Pride, self righteousness, and casting judgment is also a sin. If we say we have no sin, we lie and the truth is not in us. Remember you will be judged the same way you judge others, so I hope you are literally perfect and completely sinless in all areas my friend.

    Pastor Adriel,
You have lost all credibility and integrity in my view when you promote bringing home to your family and little children a homosexual couple for the sake of showing christian love to the homosexual couple without discerning the potential evil that you are exposing you little
    children and wife to.
I speak from my own horrific experience and mistake in this area.
We thought we were showing Christian love to this elderly man who turned out to be a monster in disguise and the evil he perpetrated in my family has devastated our family of 6.
You could not be more wrong in your decision not to protect your family against the evils of the world. Your first and foremost responsibility and duty as a leader of your home is to protect your family NOT expose them to evil.
If that weren’t enough for me to loose so much trust in you as a spiritual advisor on the radio this past week you endorsed the movie The Jesus Revolution. That movie is filled with heresy not to mention gross sin that Freesby was involved in and as a consequence die from aids.
I fear for you ! How can you lack so much discernment and be a pastor?
