I work at a small town print shop and we do this kind of printing for people all the time... And we're cheaper than cvs. So, a local print shop is my suggestion.
Just in case anyone is on the fence about getting a printer... I had an HP color inkjet printer for years and it was so annoying that it only would accept expensive HP ink and it frequently needed the ink replaced (probably because it was drying up). After that gave up the ghost, I really resisted getting another printer at all, but finally due to my interest in collage, I caved. I have an HP Smart Tank 6001 which uses big tanks of ink that you refill with liquid rather than the cartridges. I've only had it 1 day but I have been happily scanning in some ephemera and have printed a few things out on just copy paper and the quality is good for me. The printer is wireless and was really easy to set up. It was only $230 from Amazon and came with a lot of ink. As I said, I've only had it 24 hours but it got really good reviews and it seems to be a paradigm shift from the cartridge home printers of the past. As I said, it also scans so as I'm a beginner with collage I'm using scans of some of my original ephemera to work with until I get more confident to work with originals.
I normally don’t leave comments but wanted to take a moment to let you know how much I enjoy your videos😊…. Your videos are very informative and always inspire me 😊
That's ok for basic, but you can't change paper quality or thickness. Print shops in my area only do bigger print runs, like wedding invitations, leaflets etc.
Thank you for explaining this process. Could you back up a little though and go through how to download from someone’s Etsy shop onto your computer? I’ve done that, but I don’t know how to edit the descriptions so that I know what print/prints are in my download files. The way it shows up on my computer, I have to click on each one. If I get confused and loose my place, then it really becomes a chore. I noticed your download was labeled October, but how did you do that. Maybe I’m not the only computer dummy 😞 😊
It depends on what kind of computer you have and what software it runs on. I have a Mac computer. It's that or a Windows-based computer. Do you have someone locally that you can ask to show you how to create folders to place your Etsy purchase files?
Thank you so much.Your tutorial only took 5 minutes. One was pdf on Etsy and now ready to pick up 😊Could you explain zip files? A lot of the files on etsy are zip. Thank you so much at the very least i can order the ones on Etsy that are pdf.
Glad it was helpful! A zip file compresses a bunch of files into a single location. It's like a container for multiple files. When you double click on a zip file, what should happen is that it will open a new window with a bunch of files inside. Then you can choose which ones you want to print or save.
When you encounter a zip file, right click with your mouse and choose "Extract..." from the dropdown list that comes up. You can also choose where to put those files. Remember where they are so you can do what you want with them later.
This was very helpful, however I only have an iPad and no computer so I'm not sure how I would be able to get things printed without having a computer.

You could also ask Google and find a tutorial that explains it for what type of computer you have.

It doesn't. Let me it says like I am not allowed on cvs document printing

I just emailed it from my phone to my local office supply store.
Nice!! I'm so glad you figured it out. 💙
this is a cvs commercial?😄
Nope. It’s not. 👍🏼
