I consider my dogs members of the family. I'm just not a fan of all the self righteous bullshit around it. We've gotten all our dogs from the pound and they all have fairly troubled pasts. I do NOT say I "rescued" them. Rescue to me requires an act of courage. I take care of them because I fuckin' want to. Parents don't cut the nads off of their kids. Parents prepare kids for independence.
Part of the family is one thing, I can accept that one, but they are not someone's relatives. That is where it becomes insane with all those wackos. I would say you are something like a guardian or something, maybe a friend to the animal or animals you have if they have agreed lol, I prefer sane words.
@@Vero2yu even then I won't call pets part of the family, at best they're the family pet not a family member pets are animals not family
@muqali4203 what you described is why dogs aren't family for one there not even the same species
“My baby is in there” shout two people to the fireman, who enters in the building to risk his life searching for two children not knowing there is no second child (its an animal)
(Also the loss of a child is exponentially more devastating than the loss of an animal)
Ugh Infuriating!!!
@@KatenJace i just hate the hypocrisy that many dog lovers or "pet parents" have them: "I hate children but I will turn around and call and treat my dog a child. Using a term used only for actual kids." If you hate kids so much why are you treating and calling your dog a child? You think a dog makes and is a better child then actual children?
Is anyone else worried about the declining birth rate? Or how hostile the world is becoming to families and children? Or how no one can afford to make new people? Societies who stop having young humans do not do well.
And that is why I cringe when I hear the term pet parent. I gave up most of my life for my children. It costs money to go to work but child care is expensive and largely unavailable. My cats live happily in my house and we love them, but humans come first. They aren’t why I exist.
Good for you if you have kids. The world is overpopulated and there is a large strain on resources. Humans have overbreeded. If someone chooses to be childfree that is a blessing. If we don’t do it voluntarily, mother nature will do it to us in a very bad way. We need to worry about the animals that are going extinct as that will severely hamper the ecosystem.
@@whisperwaves9930overpopulation is a myth! Stop believing every bit of mainstream garbage that you hear.
@@whisperwaves9930 yeah,what a cuck mentality.
You don't hear these ideas from other cultures, only a brainwashed and beaten down western society would say it's inhumane to have kids, while others have dozens.
I guess this is some sort of darwin test, the strong will perpetuate, while the people full of imposed guilt will not.
@@whisperwaves9930 Actually good for her if she did not have kids, good for people to not have, mother nature would no doubt be more kind when there are less people in this earth.
No. I’m more worried about the overpopulation of humans that are wreaking havoc on the planet and squeezing out natural resources as well as other species. Do us all a favor and stop breeding. You may think we need to see more of your genetic blueprint but really, we don’t.
0:44 Thank God I was Born in 1997 I'm Not among those Idiots with dead brain cells
Back in my home I have 2 Budgie and their kids and I only have them because my Mom and Younger Sister is too obsessed with those .But even so They are our well trained pets
What is a Son or Daughter? We might have already forgotten the definition of those if you address them as your kids
I think Adopting a Orphan Child make much more sense than those at least in my dying years he/she will take care of me
They say having kids is expensive but in process use much more money and resources in pets and Their Fancy clothes and toys which ironically I never knew they even need lol
You're adopting a child so that you will be taken care of when you're old? What a garbage mentality
You can’t count on your kids to be there to take care of you I’ve seen to many that ignore their parents I helped my mom but when she declined a nurses aide was hired I continued to handle meds appointments etc
@@aartur1254 this pet parent nonsense aint better
I have a 100lbs pitbull.
I HATE IT when people use the term pet parent.
We are humans. We are their MASTERS
That actually sounds weird when you put it like that, sicne you're not ordering them around to do stuff, you're caring for them. Plus domesticated animals are like children anyway
No, it doesn't. You're the weird one with the overly attached view you have that's probably due to emotional inadequacies or lack thereof affection in one's youth.
@@gamerstheater1187 so gross domestic animals aren't like kids stop dehumanizing kids by comparing them no kid act like an animal
@@93ImagineBreaker It's more like uplifting animals by comparing them to kids
@@gamerstheater1187 no that's degrading kids and offensive to kids don't try to use kids to boost animals this would be offensive if it was any other group. Would it be uplifting cows if someone compared cows to women. Would you feel uplifted if someone compared you to an animal.
You should raise a dog to protect you and your children. He absolutely is family, because he earned his place over thousands of years. Humans would not have survived without dogs.
he's a pet not family
And i'm sure humans would survive just well without dogs
dogs were invented by humans long after we came into being and some places dont use dogs and survived humans used many different ways to hunt and and only 00ne used dogs
It’s called being delusional😂
Indeed. Some of the dumbest things I have ever heard is when people use words like ''mom, dad, sister, brother'' and so on in relation to people and animals. So demented.
All those wackos is a waste of oxygen and conversation.
Suddenly Marbles and the Iggys...
They babies and deserve everything. Pets are our kids
They are not ''babies'' smh, wacko, they are not ''kids'' or ''people'' so get some therapy.
They deserve everything, I agree they deserve everything that is good, but they are not people nor will ever be. Animals is what they are. They are animals and should be respected and treated as the Animals that they are, as the lovely and amazing animals that they are, they are also not people's kids bcz people do not breed animals. People breed people.
so you'd get your actual child fixed and would be ok if a pet owner treated their kids like they would a pet?
@@Vero2yu I'd say people give birth to people but yeah their million ways children and pets are different
Pets are Pets, hence the words pets and they are animals not children, get some therapy.
@@93ImagineBreaker It is not their in that sentence, lol, there are million ways rather.
When I retired I adopted a cat I had the time to devote Cats need attention also Then we decided to adopt a second cat then we had a senior stray wander around our house. No owner found so we took him in.He had a nice life for 3 years before he passed away. They are all my babies.I call them by their name or baby and they follow me around the house
yeah thats nice but there not your literal or comparable to human babies, saying this as a cat lover.
Born 1978 Xennial Pet Parent
If you really think your fucking pet is an extension of your DNA, then you truly have mental problems.
That Mutant looking thing loots Deformed!
@@popps2502 Where's your picture?
It is called a pet owner, stop being deranged, bye.
1976 and I'm a pet parent too
*This is sick. First of all, part of the family does not mean they are relatives sooo, get help. Secondly, like, buying clothing for the pet does not mean ''pet parent, pet parents'' smh, some people only buy clothes for them so that they will not become sick (if they do get sick from cold and so on), so again you wackos need help. Respect animals for the Animals that they are and treat them like animals, meaning treat them very well bcz they are sentient beings and amazing animals, bye.*
Just curious....are YOU a trans?? Also, most people nowadays wear clothes to show off, most wear as little as possible!! So, there goes YOUR silly theory about getting sick, etc!! YOU ..... sound in need of EMERGENCY mental evaluation!! Maybe worry about stuff like child abuse, WACKOS killing people, animal abuse /TORTURE goes on daily!! Yet, here YOU are condemning those who overly LOVE their Family members?? Get A LIFE >>>> YOU WACKO!!!
@@denisemezynski8014 wat does trans have to do with this
Love it.....my CVS receipt is at least 2 feet long, not kidding! Love people who treat pets like Family 😻. Cuz they Are💕......and Do Not let Anyone tell you different 😤
Smh, there is no need to treat them like ''family'' to treat them well and it is Especially not necessary to use all that Ridiculous and sick terminology. Like sure you might treat them as a Part of the family, but nobody is a relative to an animal sooo. Bottom line.
@@Vero2yu too much pet worship, now treating them like animals is abuse,
And dsure treating pets like humans is what caused all these dysfunctional pets
Ain't nothing wrong with being a pet parent, so long as you know that a pet isn't the same as a human child. But they deserve nothing but the best.
There is A LOT wrong with it actually, those who are like that are seriously mentally disturbed and causes many others brain infections too when they start to implement such ridiculous words, at least they can say something like guardians. Companions. Furry friends, if the animals agree that they are friends of course lol, but anything other than that is sickness.
your not a pet parent your a pet owner thats a flat out contradiction
people aren't pet parents there pet owners
