She will always be Slave 1 to me. I have issues with the new Boba Fett and Jango Fett, but this isn't the place to go into that rabbit hole. lol

Jango died 20 years ago hope that helps

@BiPolarExpress1225 Boba Fett was NOT a clone and Jango wasn't his father.

Working landscaping for many many years I've been to a lot of different garbage dumps and I could tell you how jam-packed they are nearly to the clouds with plastic and other crap that doesn't decompose I'm not some crazy tree-hugging activists but I could definitely tell you that I have no problem with them changing their packaging. for me it's all about the figure inside anyways and those don't go in the trash.

Great weathering & detail work on the “Slave 1.”✊🏼

Went a little nuts w that rubb n buff stuff there hey? Lol but your detail looks good man, and can't believe how easy that weathering is....only thing I didn't like about that is the ramp slides down, which is great, but why the fuck didn't they open the entrance too? Ahhh Hasbro, For 200 smackers , that's the least you could e done, just to go with the details, other than that ...I love the Slave-1 (always will be to me) patrol ship ,there isn't another like it in any scifi story .

You might have gone too crazy with the rubbing stuff. But the Weathering was insanely good.
Im gonna test out the weathering in my Micro Galaxy Squadron Slave 1 and see if it looks good.
If im proud of it, ill try it on my TVC when i get it

We actually stumbled onto an alternative way to weather/wear/fatigue totally by accident that's pretty cheap, easy to do, requires almost 0 clean up, and has worked out really well.
We used fine point pens and sharpies, including black, silver, graphite, gold, brown, etc. to get into the cracks and do some weathering/wear.
We found a really easy way to "pull" the wear marks or tone down the black crack highlighting out was to simply lick the fleshy side of our thumb and pull away from where the heaviest concentration of the black pen in the crack, brown on the stormtrooper armor, silver on the wear points of a ship or pistol, lightsaber hilt, etc. The only risk was to be mindful of having some stuff on our thumbs handling things as we went, so we wiped our thumb on a paper towel, etc. or just flat out got up and washed our hands really good, then went back to work. However, there were other times we purposely did NOT wash our hands because we wanted thumb prints followed by licking a thumb/that same thumb and pulling the discoloration away because it gave a random aging/wear appearance on the ship, etc.
The soap we use every day is a little bit of dawn anti-bacterial in a foaming soap container with water shaken up/rotated a bunch of different directions to get the concetrated soap mixed thoroughly/evenly throughout the water. Super cheap and 1 large container of the anti-bacteria dawn can last a year or two just by putting an 1/8th an inch in the bottom of a 6" tall foam soap dispenser filled with water. (water first and let the soap run down through the full water works well to avoid the bumbling over of doing the soap first and then filling the soap dispenser.)
We stumbled onto the soap thing by accident, also. We figured dish soap cuts through grease, etc. so we started using it on laundry for applicable stains, the anti-bacterial to avoid getting sick, etc. Turns out, a couple rounds of it, and some minor scrubbing of the (minorly) blackened/silver/graphite discolor on the thumb from weathering came off pretty good and quick so we could immediately go back to the detailing and weathering.
We found that a black pinpoint sharpie worked really well some cases in cracks, armor plating, highlighting plates on trooper armour, etc., and a graphite in others, a dark brown in others. We've done black series helmets, beach troopers from Rogue One, the really large 2' x 2' x-wings that were promo items, plastic guns like the tan and green nerf boba fett blaster spray we spray painted black with silver wear on the corners, an orange han solo blaster using black, silver, and a gold marker for the handle that turned out really cool, spray painting silver a couple of jango fett pistols, a lot of stuff.
Sometimes we took the items back to someone that saw them before we weathered/worn fatigued them and they didn't believe it was the same item. Not because we were some sort of guru at weathering/worn fatiguing, more that the whole hand-held pen and pulling the ink away with a thumb or licking a thumb just turns out really well. Sometimes, we'll even lick our thumb slightly and put the minor bit of saliva on a small target area of the ship, figure or gun (ships mostly) before using the pen to get a different effect. Worked like a charm.
The only warning is on the silver. For some reason some silver pens/paint markers don't like to cure on the plastic figures. So it will come off a month, 6 months, etc. later on your hands. We experimented with using a silver paint marker instead of the silver regular sharpies like you would take to a signing, etc.
One huge plus of stumbling onto this is that the pens can be found in a ton of places. Staples, Office Depot/Office Max, Walmart, Hobby Lobby, Target, Walgreens, just a ton of different places. Sometimes we've stubled onto sets in clearance with a bunch of colors we hadn't anticipating using but added a nice touch.
Hope that helps! It's easy to get into and have to be careful to not go too far because of how easy it is and how cool it looks in no time flat. Given you're holding it close to your chest doing it, sometimes you have to back away mid-weathering/wear fatiguing to make sure you're not going overboard. lol
Have fun. If you try it and get some good results, post a response. ;)

Thanks so much! I was planning to use one actually, but I ended up not needing one! It all dries up clean and felt great. I usually use a matte finish spray afterwards, but I was surprised I didn’t need one this time!

I used to have this way back the 1st time they released it. I don't even remember having it but then when I see the cockpit rocking I vaguely remember. IIRC the 1st time they released it as Jango Fett's. I wanted Boba Fett's so I either sold it or returned it to the store. Now I want to get the Micro Galaxy Squadron version but I can't afford it because Transformers & MOTU Masterverse are taking all my money.
