Watching these now and I think he comes across as manipulative, disrespectful, emotionally abusive and very narcissistic. You can see how she tries so hard and he never seems satisfied or then begins to slate her or humiliate her by discussing their sexual habits or something. I feel for her. Everyone tells her that lost out when her and Peter didn’t work. I can only imagine how crushed she was when she realised he never really loved her and literally promised her a fairy tale in front of us all and then used it to publicly covertly abuse her. I one hundred percent agree with everything you said. He is incredibly abusive. But, it's covert and unless it's overt the average person just does not acknowledge it. I don't see him as a nice person. He's playful/ silly/ sensitive but that does not equate to a good person. Especially, if you are all those things and abusive with it.

Totally changed my mind about how I feel about Pete. :’) I had a friend who had cancer at 15 and she had a “make a wish” and she wanted to meet Adam Sandler so badly. For whatever reason he couldn’t or wouldn’t. It’s someone’s dying wish, I just don’t see how you can’t take 3 hours out of your life to make theirs. I’m all emo now.
You never know what he had going on in his life at the time! How judgemental of you! How do you know he wasn't shooting a movie on the other side of the world at the time, and his director refused to give him time off and he legally was unable to break his contract? How do you know he wasn't dealing with a family member with cancer at the time himself? Or grief? Or illness?? You have no idea why he couldn't. The last time I was judged like this was when I was 2 hours late for work. I explained I was on my way in but was getting horrific stomach pain. Despite having 3 kids, I was almost always on time for work and never took sick days unless it was for the kids and I couldn't get a sitter. No matter how ill I felt, I always went in regardless unless it was something highly contagious. The pain got worse, and being a nurse I was confused as to why my symptoms suggested internal bleeding when nothing appeared wrong with me. Pain got so bad I had to admit myself to the A&E department I worked in. I was judged, colleagues told me to "suck it up" because everyone else has to when they are ill and they get on with it without medical attention. I was really harshly talked about and judged. Turned out I had a ruptured ovarian ectopic pregnancy and I was bleeding seriously internally. Because I kept on working despite being in agony for hours, I ended up needing a huge life saving major operation, lost the ovary and the baby, and had lost so much blood that only my main internal organs were still receiving any small amount of blood I still had left. Even though my observations showed that i had dangerously low blood pressure and my heart beat had slowed by half, i still felt terrible about not working and leaving the department with one less pair of hands. It was rammed at the time and i continued for hours getting worse quicker as time went on. None of my tissues or muscles were getting any blood. Couldn't be canulated as the veins just weren't getting enough blood to be effectively canulated. Organs begun to shut down. As a colleague the staff at the A&E department I worked in finally realised how serious it was and instructed theatre to save me no matter what the cost. Even after i returned to work weeks later, they totally brushed aside my curiosity about what happened that day, none of the staff would tell me what happened to me because I was desperate to know. Everyone refused to tell me anything. So I accessed my medical portal and was shocked to see how things happened that day in the written word by theatre staff. I lost over 6 pints of blood, had to be cut from top to bottom vertically in an 8 hour op. The staff I worked with even questioned theatre staff and asked if taking me to theatre was really necessary because they needed me in A&E as it was manic. No one has apologised since. Which is fine because I don't need an apology at all. Just so happy to be alive. But even now staff just talk of their own stories of how dreadfully ill they've been and still come to work. And how they didnt complain by working Xmas Day! I was DYING, and I was still judged. I don't tell many people about that. I only tell you because I'm trying to make you see how hurtful and wrong you can be for judging someone, especially when they genuinely couldn't help not helping/being there and they aren't able to talk about it to anyone so everyone just continues to judge. And also you're a total stranger so it makes no difference if I tell you. In healthcare you are in work no matter what. Because they cannot afford to lose staff, especially at short notice. Which we all understand. I even went to work on the same day as my mother's funeral happened. But my good work record didn't make my collegues see that if i said i couldnt work, then i really meant it. Had to book the funeral on a morning slot so I could attend it, and leave the wake after an hour so I could get to work. But let this story be a lesson as to why you should never judge unless you know the full story. Adam Sandler has a decent overall reputation and really doesn't seem the type to not help KIDS with cancer unless he had very good reason. Most celebs donate to kids charities in large amounts and work with kids who are sick or dying in their free time. Johnny Depp being one example. Shaquille O'Neil being another. Keanu Reeves etc..... most will do anything to make dying child smile. Maybe Adam had a terrible director who was strict (common in Hollywood) and refused to let him leave set at all. He wouldn't have been able to breach contract, and he also may not have even been given the letter by his team. Most celebs have their team deal with their affairs. Half the fan mail most likely doesn't even get opened!!! Or ever passed on! Change your ways!! You will regret it when you're old if you don't!
No he has his own talent, his own money an his own fame long ago. He clearly now has a Better life with a Better wife, because he deserves it that's why God Blessed him. Kate's had so many different men, an non of them wanted to settle down wth her, whereas Pete is grounded in family life.

No she hasn’t lasted with any man for that long because she always goes for the wrong ones. The pretty boys with no talent or money of their own. If she went for an older man for his personality rather than his looks she might find happiness. She has demons Katie does and quite obvious mental illness. She has made a living of the superficial and now she’s older and lost her money maker, as sadly mags don’t want a 40 year old women posing nude, she is lost. But when you watch these back you very very clearly see that Pete was an arsehole and is probably still one.
