Love all the items you picked up for your girl. I have several Murasaki items from when I first started collecting my Dollfie Dreams 7 years ago and have kept em all since they are so cute. She's been posting pictures of her dolls here and there on FB recently. She said she's hoping to get back into the doll hobby so maybe we'll see a comeback from her as she's very nice 😊 And dang you're getting a steal of a deals from this seller you've found. I love finding deals so good job!

Hi there. Fellow Kiwi figure customiser here. So I've been collecting and customising 1/6 and 1/3 scale for years. Mainly ThreeA figures cause I like there dimensions. But 3A has announced they will no longer make 1/3 so I'm looking at other platforms. I've recently started researching Danny Choo's Smart Dolls, and I see you have one. Would you recommend them? Thanks in advance.
Hiya! I'm not familiar with 3A, but they sound awesome! It's such a shame they are no longer going to be making figures. From a quick Google, ThreeA figures and Smart Dolls seem quite different. I suppose whether you would enjoy Smart Dolls would depend on what it is you want from them. Their aesthetic is very anime, and they are made of soft vinyl (unless you choose to wait and purchase a Cortex/Injection moulded version). In saying that, the customisation potential is endless, and they are a lot of fun to work with. I have had nothing but enjoyment from my doll, so would definitely recommend them (although this would also make me biased). In saying this, if you're after a more realistic-looking model, I would highly suggest you look into ball jointed dolls (BJDs). Not sure if this helps, but I'm happy to try answer any other questions you may have :)
@@LavilyDay Thanks for your reply! The 3A females (Isobelle Pascha series) were intended to be a more Anime style. I sculpt and cast my own heads and parts from resin when needed. Take a look at artofjasunjames on insta if you get a chance. The 3A figures are also expensive like Smart Dolls but more due to their limited number runs (Some as low as 5 units). Because I am VERY average at sewing, I only do alteration work to existing garments at the moment, So my next question is, are there a lot non-Danny Choo clothes that fit? 1/3 scale range from 45-70cm depending on the company. Thanks again.
@@jasunjames oh that's awesome! Just checked out your insta, and OMG! I love your figures, especially your version of Tank Girl with her bike, wow! As for clothes, fear not! There are MANY clothes options out there that would fit. In fact, the only clothes I own from Danny Choo are the lingerie set items my doll came with. Pretty much everything else is from different sellers/makers on Etsy. There are many Etsy shops selling Smart Doll clothes, and clothes made for regular 1/3 scale or SD BJDs fit nicely too. Unfortunately I don't think they sell things anymore. Their shop page is still there (I put a link to it in the video description), but everything is sold out, and there's no sign of restocks happening any time soon. It looks as if they've left the hobby, since their last post was in 2016 😭 Everything I have of theirs was bought second hand 😅

I was really confused when I went on the website the only thing there was pictures it's not a bad thing but it's a little bit plain. Hiya! I bought them off of a website called TradeMe 🙂 it's a site similar to eBay, except as far as I know, you need a New Zealand bank account / address to buy from there. I linked the original sources of these clothes in my description though, so you can always check those out. I'm hoping Murasaki.Me comes back soon!
