It's about anything you eat you will love it.
I know people who usually don't eat certain ingredient but when they try it in our food they totally go crazy loving it.

@@boacoautonvocado7870 This is Terrible to hear. My father still lives in Nicaragua, and he was almost killed by the Police for speaking truth about the Government. He is 71 years old and they did not care about his age or health condition. They kept him in jail for 8 days, and beat him up more then once. This happened about 7 Months-1 year ago.
He is the reason I haven’t returned. He keeps telling me, not to come until Daniel Ort; dies.
Not sure how long that will be. But unfortunately my Country lives under a Dictatorship.
I hear it from relatives all the time. The Country is suffering badly. The innocent are paying the price everyday. I will watch the documentary you speak of.

Me diò hambre ese baho, tanto q lo harè la semana q viene, vivo en Australia y hace 40 años me iba a los parques a robar hoja, despues plantè en el patio mi propios àrboles y como crecen ràpido, de ver a mi mamà y a mi abuelita materna aprendì hacerlo a la edad de 17 años despues mi mamà y resto de familia querìan q solo yo lo hiciera. Pormedio de los shops chinos encuentro yuca, platanos ahora es mas facil encontrarlos. Era muy popular con el Baho pues si habìa una fiesta de Nicaraguenses me pedìan a mi q hiciera Baho. 😊

El bajo se come en ocasiones especiales. Es un proceso bien cuidado, y es un privilegio comerlo para los Nicaraguense, claro como dijo el te lo puedes comer cuando quieres, pero el bajo es una comida que pocas veces se hace en un hogar nicaragüense.

Baho looks like my favourite. I am familiar with the ingredients, however I've not had this type of dish before.
The Gallo Pinto (rice and beans) is cool, only that don't eat yoghurt.
Bunuellos looked super yummy. I'd like to try the yucca filling.
Meringue & cajete de coco. The cajete de coco looks yummy.
Their food looks irresistible.

Hola David the was not traditional orange that was sour orange )Naranja agria, the twist or touch to many Nicaraguan dishes sweetheart, like Indio viejo, Nacatamal, arroz aguado y Baho.!! Loving Baho la Vilma I go there every time I visit Nicaragua and try las cajetas en Granada I highly recommend Majar .!!! At a private home 5 block from La colonia Supermarket then make a left 3 blocks it’s a corner home with Rocking chairs out side .!! Baho al vapor is so healthy not to mantioned our fermeuntate onions mixer or Chileros so yummy all those flavor all together .!! Yummy I have watery mouth right now 😂.! Love ❤it.! Baho you topically eat it Saturday and Sundays.!!

So they recently added a mini location in Managua (or may be just outside of city limits). Apparently it was after closing but they allowed us to order some to go and my uncle was pretty disappointed since he had been driving us all day. When he opened his bag the smell alone turned that frown upside down. It reminded me of how my Abuelita would make for us

First the meat with is brisket is salted for a day or two than it depends on the amount but an 8 pound brisket about 4 hours

That's what country-style or what I call peasant food looks like. It's not fine dining by any means and that's what I love about these videos. The coconut cake, in Trinidad, is what we call sugar cake and the cassava treat in the honey (love the crunch) reminds me of gulab jamun. Even the crumbly treat reminds me of a cross between pate choux and macaron but a drier version. Carlos is such a gracious host. Getting ready to watch the Live" now. Don't want to miss this one.
