Problem vision me thi... available milk vendors ka aggregation tha...it was nothing different in quality that people already had.
Ye startup sirf delivery service par based tha...inka product na tou unique tha na hi better.
Delivery better hota aur cost control me hota tou hi success mana jata.
I am a businessman and what i observed about this startup that these 2 guys had good startup idea but they didn't have business sense .

The basic drawback was they were selling only full cream milk,whereas majority of people consume toned and double toned.

Startup Must focus on quality. If the milk is good quality and without adulteration the customers are ready to pay much higher prices for example in Hyderabad we have Sid farm the cost of milk is double than the Amul and other products and it is selling very well because it delivers quality.
The business policy of this dudhwala people was not fixed that's the reason why they was not having their straight forward strategy
They were completely distracted from the right track because they have been also involved in so many other products like groceries which was out of their capacities.
This all above mentioned reasons because of what they failed in the business.
So please be focused on a one single activity and be a single minded

Max. Startups start with huge losses,and continue for years struggling.. So many fail badly.
Observations are good, nicely explained.
The main reason for their failure was that there was no valuation addition in input & margin was very nominal.

I can relate..... I made 26 lacs in a single year and wasted all my money like anything and now I am in complete debt, my mind is freezed and my bank account is in just a hundred rupees. Always track your expenses and don't spend so much money on your personal interest.

To mene apne niche 4 operator banaye aur me khud, hum sab ne milkar aadhar me khoob paise banaye.lekin Jaise hi govt Ne rules change kiye aur aadhar center govt location par alot karne shuru kiye, hum sab blacklist ho gaye. Aur ab to ye kaam karna bahut hactic ho gaya, itna paisa nahi hai.aur sab paisa ek college kholne me laga diya ITI ka, aur ab ITI ka market bhi khatam ho chuka hai. Paisa bhi khatam, aur future ab bahut mushkil dikhai padta hai.

When labour is cheap and home delivery is quite common, digital service is not practical.

Being an ex employee, milk was a low margin and wastage business and poor technology backend to identify loss, high salary for non performing asset who couldn't procurement as per tech capabilities, cash burn on coupon codes, no high margin items along with milk, no market activities funded by brand, high fleet cost.
Q bag is also a similar startup..I found this in Hyderabad

Cost price of purchase was more expensive and over head High ARPU . No free complementary delivery start up customer. . Incentive after bulk buy only. With nice safe margin per litre beverages or per Kg food essential for survival in India.

Moral of story is very clear , raise funds, raise turnover, make big projections , enjoy money and close down one fine morning !
Actual the real problem was that they were working as an affiliate.
They had focued on giving milk from vendors to customers, insted they should focus on making their own dairy house, parallel with working with vendors.
They should focus on stronging their distribution network. And their positioning should be only pure milk and not cost effective milk.
Financial management was a big failure.
Very nice lesson for new businessmen.

अगर आप pure दूध देते हैं तो लोग कोई भी कीमत पर दूध लेने तैयार है.
इनका पहले से ही planning funding का पैसा लेके भागने का था, इसलिए आड़ा टेड़ा offer दे रहे थे.
Funding should have been invested in new milk dairies which should be owned and operated by company . Looks like short of future plans and vision . Premium milk workable .

I wanna know one thing thats about how much does it cost to make a software for this kind online deliveries like groceries and all
Basically its about making an ecommerce website wherein you have to buy a domain name and a decent hosting to store your website data for which you have to pay annual fees (both domain and hosting) after buying these two things you need to select where you want to design your website..majority mnc companies have their websites built on wordpress. Now there are agencies and people known as web developers who do all this for you and charge some amount based on your requirements. For a website I think they charge around 10 or 20 thousand max. Now there are also freelancers on fiverr who do all this for a much cheaper price.

How to start cab service at local level?
You should start at local level within a certain demographic area. Customer acqusition cost is more in it though tou can align your cabs in corporates or call centers. Margins arent too high as the operational cost is quiet high in this business. And with so many aggregators its a long haul for you make a niche in the market. With pandemic not many people are incluned with using publuc transport. Instead you can start car aestherics business
