J&L Oil Separator/Cardon Trap Removal 2024 Mustang GT

Today we remove the factory carbon traps and install the J&L Oil Seperator into Wasp, our 2024 Mustang GT.

Joel, will removing the carbon traps cause you to fail an inspection?

I don't think so but Virginia at this moment does not have emissions test

From what I understand is part of the emission system but my concern does it void the warranty by removing the traps.@@N2MYGT

There is no gains from removing the carbon traps. There are several videos that show this on RUclips.

I still have mine in and I ordered the K&N filters just for cleaning as the paper ones turn black really quickly but it sucks to have two intakes and double the price for the intakes because two throttle bodies but I’m going to wait a while to see if they make more intakes available

Is 51000 miles too late to put one on my car or is the damage already done I don't own a mustang I have a 1.5l ford fusion and I have heard that any car with a turbo will benefit greatly from a oil catch can
