I am already jonesing watching your videos leading up the rally! I have to miss it this year due to some eye issues that have popped up and I can't drive or ride. 1st time in 7 years not going! Been 18 times so far! Counting on more great videos from you guys so I can attend vicariously through you guys this year. Super unfortunate that this rally and H-D really have a limited life span in terms of what they once were. Participants and customers are getting too old or are no longer with us. Good to see the ADV rally starting. Things are a changing.

It's crazy
Deadwood has such a cool history and even today the town looks cool, but the whole casino vibe is such a turn off. I get why they do it, but to me it cheapens the historic nature of the town. A bunch of "blue hairs" rolling in on tour busses doesn't really feel like the real Deadwood. They also have all of these "casino food" places. When I go to Deadwood, I want to feel like I'm in a cafe or restaurant that Wild Bill or Seth Bullock would have eaten at, not some blue hair buffet style crap. A few years ago I went into the original #10 Saloon where Wild Bill was shot and I ordered a Bourbon. They told me they could only serve beer because they didn't have their hard liquor license. WTF? This is suppose to be one of the original Deadwood bars and yet they can't serve whiskey? Deadwood is a great idea, but it's currently not a great town.

I used to go to Deadwood 3-4 times a year.Feeling the same way my wife and I are doing something else in the Hills.
But that’s how deadwood has always been since the 1800s…it’s always been a rough and tough gambling town…hence wildbill getting shot over a poker hand…aces and eights
