Thank you so much for this video! It definitely eased my mind knowing that the anchors aren’t necessary for safety when the child is strapped to it…the seatbelt takes care of it! Thank you so much!
Thank you for this video. Where can I verify the information that "for a booster seat - the LATCH system has no weight max" ? I keep reading you cannot use LATCH above 65 lbs (seat + child weight). I'm currently using my childs Harness to Booster in "Booster Mode" (using the seatbelt like a seatbelt and NO harness), and I have the booster seat LATCH systemed in.
Your specific seat’s manual will tell you whether the anchors can be used in booster mode! The reason that 65lb limit does not apply in booster mode is because the lower anchors are only taking the weight of the booster seat itself, while the seatbelt takes the child’s weight. The booster itself does not weigh 65lbs!
@@coralleonard5981 page 15-16 in the Grow With You ClickTight Plus manual instructs you on using the anchors in booster mode: it’s optional but it is allowed! Britax’s website has the manual to download if you need it.

@@countrykidscarseatsafety that makes perfect sense. The manual is hard to understand, but I emailed Britax directly. Hopefully they will clarify.
