To me the iPhone 15 plus is the iPhone 14 pro max without the high refresh screen and the heavy weight. The rest of the features are pretty much the same. Oh the iPhone 15 plus has better battery life.
I have a 15 pro max and I really considering taking it back and just get a regular 15 this year.. this is the first year I feel like the pro series are not worth the upgrade.. as I had the 14 pro max . And I feel the 15 /15 plus are the better upgrades this year in the line over the pro series.

I think the 90hz was a missed opportunity for Apple in terms of marketing. I just remember how much flack tech tubers gave the Pixel 6a for being 60hz and it was $449 at launch. 😂

I tested the iPhones for an hour in the store yesterday. Surfing is very fast. Zooming in and out with the video camera is the best of all smartphones, that's really wow. But....... a friend of mine has an S23, I have a oneplus 11, I tested a few of the same elements with all 3 smartphones and the iPhone also the pro max which did not always display the colors correctly; for example, a grayish line on the ground; the S23 was the best, then the oneplus 11 and the iPhone was white, very white, while that was absolutely not the case. Also a piece of wooden wall that was dark white, the iPhone showed that it was mega white, which was not correct at all. Then there was a red paper; the S23 scored the worst and showed orange. OnePlus 11 and the iPhone were better. Also a text on a wooden box; the oneplus 11 displayed the correct colors during the video recording. The iPhone had the nicer photo, but it was unrealistic, they had lightened everything, the S23 was the worst and showed a slightly different color, more orangey instead of red. The iPhone has the smoothest video camera, yes, especially when zooming in and out. But that camera doesn't always have the right balance either. Unfortunately, there simply is no perfect camera. The biggest difference for me was zooming in and out, but other than that? If a number of other brands also display it nicely, that's all. I don't make any money from it, I just want to be able to film stable and with good quality, you don't need a 1500 euro iPhone for that. You mainly pay hundreds of euros extra because it has an Apple logo on it. I am an Apple and Samsung fan, but yesterday I was not convinced to pay 1479 euros for the Pro Max. I used to think iOS was better than Android, Android was not good in the past. But now? I'm so used to Android, especially on a Samsung, the software is excellent, Android is clearly better than iOS. I have to be honest about that, it is of course also personal preference. I will buy an S24 Ultra I think in 2024. What I also noticed is that the differences are not that great between the regular 15 models and the pro models. Of course, the video camera on the pro models will be just that little bit sharper and the zoom will be just that little bit better, but other than that I haven't seen that many differences. I opened the same sites and the speed was about the same so there is no difference there either. Taking photos wasn't much difference either, I even saw in videos where the 15 took better photos than the 15 pro. I think it's the first time that the non-pro models are quite good. The pity remains the price and that you don't get a 90hz or 120hz refresh rate, which you should. Although it's all not too bad. 60hz on the 15 works quite well.
i am changing my S23 for regular 15 in black, 256GB, bought new car, android auto not working, there is a problem with my S23 so yea, i am forced to change, anyway, my friend has regular 15, it is very good phone overall, i think its worth this year, only downgrade is basically the 60hz, i wish it was at least 90hz....
@5:44: I do...I can tell the difference very fast, not only that using a 60hz display makes me get dizzy after while of usage. When I bought the iPhone 12 back in the day, that was the primary reason why I returned it in less than a month, I kept getting dizzy and I couldn't figures out why, until I noticed that the speed was 60hz when compared to my previous phone which was 120hz. Now thats the first thing I check when I'm looking to upgrade, I won't settle for anything less than 120hz anymore.
