@@AzguardMike Yes! It's now cannon in my head that the reason techno isn't in season two is because the nuke didn't kill him in season 1 because technoblade never dies!
@@AzguardMike Of course, Techno is still alive in the Season 1 world, hanging with Steve and Edward and his pets. That’s why he isn’t there. Technoblade never dies.
@@AzguardMike Wilbur is canonically in Utah, so I doubt he died. Or maybe he did, but probably more likely not.
Also Techno most definitely survived. You are correct.

@@gelamixx So does this mean Wilbur would remember everyone? (I don’t even know if he’s participating in season 2 but if he was lol) If so, that’d make for some pretty interesting interactions. I imagine It’d be pretty jarring to have your friends completely forget you but still remember them.

It feels like so many plot lines are left unfinished. Glad they are restarting, though. Hopefully they put the old world up for download.
It kind of bugs me. Like, what was the point of all that character build up and development if they were going to just drop it and revamp everything. People really bonded with the characters and stories. Hell, all those animations and cosplayers, they really had something. It practically could have been a minecraft Game of Thrones or Star Wars.
@@MsCassidy23 dont forget DreamXD and the other "God" were not online, Karl Jacobs was in the In Between. So theres two or three "Gods" who will remember Season 1 and could continue those loose ends.
then again, having Dream rant for 4 days about becoming a demi God only to die and reset everything could also be a great way to cover up The Great Reset before Jack F'd up.

It’s sad that Tommy thought that by doing this Tubbo and the other members of the DSMP would be safe, but in the end everyone dies. Although it was kind of a wholesome ending when they start anew in a new life, can’t wait for season 2.

I have a little theory:what if the dsmp was already restared before?I now its sounds crazy but it would explain why some people on the server had not memories of like what they used to do in their life before dsmp and the little amount of people that remebered what they did before dsmp had a memorie of just apering there

That’s exactly what I was thinking when tommy looked at the Technoblade monument. Maybe the ending could have been different.
@@turaychu I really wouldn't say it was "rushed". I think a lot of thought and preparation went into it, and it probably wasn't possible to have as many people involved as in the covid days. But I do think it could have turned out differently if Technoblade were here.
Yeah I heard somewhere (I forgot where, I think another youtube comment or somewhere on Tumblr) that they weren't gonna end it just yet but Techno's death made them less comfortable continuing the story so they ended it there
What I also realized when all this happened is,
No more memories of Technoblade,
We still saw some reminiscence of him on this server.
And now its gone too.
Goodbye old friend.
I guess in the end, Technoblade was right.
Season two might be the most wholesome one

I wonder what the significance of Punz and Jack not being in the new server is. Could it be that Punz and Jack survived and all three of the "living" ones are actually in limbo together?
Jack's hatred of Tommy burst from all the abuse he gets from Tommy's not SMP videos. Also, Tommy's talk no jutsu. That ending will get Animated into the ground!

At first I thought Dream's motivations of wanting knowledge and simplicity were contradicting. But it clicked with me when Dream took of his helmet, or "mask" perhaps. This is Dream's deepest desire. He saw that the SMP was changing; people wanted boundaries - a nation. Dream didn't like that so naturally, he became the bad guy. Things were never going to be simple again, and he blamed Tommy and others for that. He started obsessing over knowledge instead, and if he went insane in the prison, I can't blame him. But deep inside he was still living in the past.
I hope somebody makes an analysis on c!Dream after the last stream because it gave him some real depth. (Oh, now it sounds like season 2 is Dream living in his own dream/limbo.)
It's still so surreal to see this server end (at least season 1 of it). I am so hyped for season 2 but I swear to god, if Tommy and Tubbo won't be best friends in season 2, I will leave the fandom /j

Jack said before the stream he wont be, Tubbo said he'll miss the DSMP after the stream and Philza on saturday said he was done with it aswell. So far its just Tommy and Dream as best friends.

I knew this would happen! I had a theory that the SMP was trapped in some kind of reincarnation loop where they get destroyed and everyone's memory is lost in the new world!

So like my theory is that the roles are going to switch instead of dream being like the villain I think Tommy is reason I think this is because there memories been erased at least one of them have to get their memories back or the story wouldn’t progress and I believe that is tubbo why? Because once the stream ends tubbo a stream says “This is not the end” ITS the only one that has that so yeah lol

I feel like the tables will be completely switched. Tommy and tubbo will be enemies, dream and tommy will be friends, etc. I know its heartbreaking but they already took away the chance of redemption for dream so what's something more?
