  • This is a cover I've been wanting to do for MONTHS but life has just being getting in the way every time I've gotten close. But its finally here: my first Amon Amarth Cover. This song is over the top all around, but the solo is particularly crazy and definitely was tough for me. Not going to call it perfect, but I hope you all enjoy! Please like the video, share, and subscribe to the channel if you haven't already!

    Solo looks good, the rhythm looks excellent, tho if I could raise one point it is the harmonic during the chorus - you are playing the melody on both guitars. Usually what Amon Amarth does is that one of the guitarists play the melody while the other plays the root notes one octave between each other. Look at their song, Pursuit of Vikings, where they start from the same root position and then play an octave between each other - one plays the melody/solo and the other one plays the root note of the melody which makes their infamous harmonic. If you did that the song would be a bit fuller, but other that than I can´t find any faults with this. Great job! ImI

      B standard

    • @coninater
      @coninater 3 года назад

      @@user-ej9zf1iz5d Both works fine, tho if you play with a 7 string guitar you would play it in B standard since that´s the normal tuning for the 7 stringer.
