Bike ministry from Waco Bicycle Club, First Baptist Waco members

A Waco nonprofit bicycle club took its talents to a Project Homeless Connect event Tuesday at the Waco Convention Center, where it spent the morning repairing bikes for people in need.
Waco Bicycle Club, established more than 30 years ago, has a branch of First Baptist Church Waco members who have been repairing bikes since the summer of 2021 as a form of ministry. The group set up and worked on several bikes at Tuesday’s event, which the Heart of Texas Homeless Coalition organizes to offer a range of services and opportunities to connect with local support agencies in one place.
